  1. Hi, thanks for all your advice I have sent them an email in the same style/manner as the one I received, and Im waiting for a reply.. basically I told them all the things they had done, the bullying, mocking me when I produced a sick note for stress, and the consequent intimidation, so i ended up going into work anyway. also the fact that my "contract" does not state a start/end date for holiday allowance or if they can be carried forward. They also got the number of holidays I was entitled to wrong anyway !!! Neither does is state any mention of notice period, either to me on dismissal or from me on resignation. I also asked for my P45 to be forwarded to a friends house (they do not know my address and my fear of reprisals prevents me from giving it them) mentioning that as I was only ever given 2 (yes 2 !!!) payslips during my time with them so I cant request a P46. Without these payslips listing the breakdown of my bonus, how can I tell if Im overpaid or not !! As for the request/demand for money, my holiday pay owed for last year is greater than the alleged overpayment of bonus I am still waiting for them to reply, but if anybody has any further advice please feel free to help once again , thanks ever so much for all your advice
  2. Thanks Steve, I'll take a look I was given a "contract" after I had pushed for one in April this year, 10 months after I started with them. It says the bonus/commision "as agreed" I was also bullied and imtimidated by the owners father who they set on to work in the office as he was retiring from fitting (he was hanging up his cowboy hat) which was the final straw, and I felt I was being elbowed out. their method if decision making was for them to gather round my desk and tell me what had been decided and I could like it or lump it. Nasty bunch
  3. I worked for a local sheffield Kitchen company, a family run and owned shop which opened in June 2011, I was the only none family employee with 4 owners and their wives as bosses I was employed as manager on a basic and 5% commission. After about 5 months they decided that I was the only person making any money from the shop, with my commision, and changed my pay structure to a bonus of 5% share of the profits after 5K a month running costs had been deducted from any profit. as I had not signed any contract till this time, and with all of them basically saying I'd be out on my ear if I didnt sign. after this the bonus was very rarely paid, always some excuse even though I knew I should have been entitled to one. The first one I was paid in february 2012 of £585 which was at the time I thought a bit much but they said at the time it was right. anyway, after working for them for 13 months and not being allowed to take ANY holidays, claiming that they had nobody to cover etc, I was granted 1 week off, the first week of the school holiday ! durung this week I accepted an offer from another company and texted my notice in , saying that they could take the 4 weeks notice from the 4 weeks holiday I was owed from the previous year ! I have now received a very menacing email from them claiming that I owe them £495 from overpaid bonus from February, and £120 for 1 and 1/2 days holiday I was not entitled to ? any advice greatly received
  4. hey up, thanks for the replies, been to look at flat and accepted it, dosent seem anything dodgy about it, no body shapes in white tape on living room floor or anything lol, so hopefully will be ok !
  5. Hi I know this topic has been covered in the past, but times and areas change. I have been offered a 1 bed flat near the ambulance station, after only being registered/bidding for about a month, so Im a bit wary about why Ive been offered a flat so quickly. have done a few drive-thru's at tea time, around midnight, and on my way to work in the morning and it looks ok, and have never heard anything really bad about the area. also would anyone know if the one bed's on there have a small box room too as some in other areas do ? cheers
  6. I think all of them are over 2 floors, even the 1 bedrooms have hallway/stairs that you go into then down , or up. Brilliant views depending on the side you live on but they are dual aspect I think
  7. There is plenty of spare land around sheffield, just off the airport link road for instance
  8. Ive never had any issues with the quality of their produce, its good value too
  9. Cairo Jax was the best place in sheff in the 80's/early90's
  10. Its a listed building, so maybe you are restricted on what you can or cant do. the flats look great and start at 90K, I'd be tempted if I could afford a mortgage
  11. does anybody remember when they would split the boys and girls into 2 groups in RE for the ''chats'' with Father Kirkham for the boys, and either Sister Concepta or Miss Marshall for the girls
