After a bit of digging about I have been told that apparently there are people who find empty properties and track down the owners who then set the ball rolling with trying to get them filled. Apparently they are working to get properties sorted before they can fall into ruin and bring down areas. Anyone else know anything?

Its just really strange because the house isn't for sale, and I'm not even considering selling it. I just phoned them back to see where they gotmy information from and they said it was on their system. So I asked them to share with me all of the information that they have about me. They have got my name, phone number and address. They also have an email contact for me but that isn't correct. They say that someone must have given my details to them, but its not me! Has anyone else had this experience?

I just had a really strange phone call. An estate agents in Sheffield have called me to see whether I am selling a house?!?! I recently purchased a second home in the city, but have no plans to sell either of them. The estate agents that phoned aren't even the ones that I bought the property with. How would they get my details to call me, and how would they find out about one of the homes that I have?
