  1. Thanks for the sppedy response but if it gives remainder of 0 I need it to allocate the actual mod number. For example claculating 1^5/26 = 1 (mod 26) 2^5 / 26 = 6 (mod 26) If allocating a letter of the alphabet to these reponses than 1 = 1 and a=a but in the second example 2 = 6(mod 26) for the letter b maps to the 6th letter ie f If you continue this upto and including 26 representing z, this gives a reamider of 0 but I need it to allocate the numerical answer of 26 = 26(mod 26) therfore z maps to z Does this make sense?
  2. Thansk for the reply. Do you have an email account so I can send you my excel spreadsheet I have created so far...it gives you the formula that I need for working in Mod(26) Thanks Sarah rsmhornsby@hotmail.co.uk
  3. Hi I am looking for someone who could set up a basic excel spread sheet that does modular arithmetic. I have the formula but when it gives the divisor 0 I need to allocate the modulus function. Also if I change the power index I need it to automatically recalculate. I can explain in more depth to some who could help. I am sure, someone who knows there way around excel could set this up in a few minutes, but it's driving me crazy. I can work it out long hand with a calculator but an excel spreadsheet would make my life so much easier Please can someone offer assistance. thanks
  4. He's a Hungarian Viszla He could do with some rough play as he is quite big for his boots. Where abouts are you......this rain is driving me and him nuts
  5. Does anyone else have a puppy that could do with meeting up to have some rrough and tumble. This bad weather is driving my poor dog to distraction and could do with another outlet. I live in S18 but can drive. PM if in the same boat and would like to meet up for a coffee / do play. Thanks
  6. Have you tried Willy Wards Garden Centre near Coal Aston?
  7. Its such a shame this little boy behaved the way he did.......but I do think that nurture does play a big part of a childs growth pattern. They say by the time a child reaches 7 they are hard wired - lets hope it was a one off incident (but me thinks not!)
