  1. I am going to my moms this week to try and get down some of the weeds that she has on her drive. How can i get these out out of a bricked drive??? I am no gardener so have no idea what to do! We have tried all sorts to put on it but nothing seems to work! Does anyone have any suggestions for the easiest and best way to get rid of weeds!
  2. My kitten has now been rehomed by a lovely lady so i know he will be well looked after! Thanks for the all the offers of help.
  3. Hi, some of you will have seen my previous post about my son becoming allergic to my kitten, my mom took him in and unfortunately her dog keps going for him! I know there are lots of people on here who take cats in and wondered if anybody could take him in. This is quite urgent as my mom can't keep him and i can't have him back because of my son. He is a beautiful kitten who really deserves a good home. Is there anyone that can help PLEASE??? I can take him to whoever could look after him. He has everything a kitten needs, cat carrier, 2 litter trays (1 which is hooded), scratching post, feeding bowls, toys, bed. Please get in touch if you can help, i don't know what to do if no-one can help! Thanks very much for reading.
  4. I couldn't type anything on the bottom so thought i would attach a bit more information on here. Kitten as said is 14 weeks old, fluffy grey and black, he is such a loving cat, loves his cuddles and loves side of his neck being tickled! He is brilliant with my 3 kids, unfortunately my youngest is 5 and he has become allergic to him. They played together brilliantly! He has had his first injection and is due for his second one on tuesday at crookes vets, hackenthorpe, the cost of his vaccination on tuesday is £11. If anyone can help to rehome him then please get in touch.

  6. My kitten didn't have fleas, he was an only cat anyway but i still checked him and definitely nothing there. Thanks for the suggestion though. Thanks oompa, it's a horrible decision to have to make but my son does come first!
  7. Thanks for all the replies, i wouldn't want my son on medication all the time, as someone said especially since the ones for kids mostly have some sort of sedative in. He's so upset bless him, might have to buy him a goldfish
  8. Hopefully my mom will be able to keep him but not sure what to do if she can't. Like you said i can't really have him back here because of my son. It's such a shame because my son is only 5 and he absolutely loved him! They were like the terrible twins together !!!
  9. Ok, thanks for that, i was just a bit confused about why he was suddenly allergic but thanks for explaining!
  10. We have had our kitten now for 11 weeks and my son has suddenly become allergic to him!!! I took him to the doctors and she confirmed this, i was hoping it might be something we could get antibiotics for and then that would be it! My mom has taken my kitten for now as his eyes are really bad when he's in the house with the kitten. Has anyone else experienced a kind of delayed allergic reaction to cats????
  11. WHat do people think is the best, butlins at skegness or haven? We have been to haven in the past and kids have loved it but wondered if butlins was better, more to do etc. I know butlins is more expensive but is it worth it??? Any suggestions please?
  12. Hi, i was wondering which haven site people thought was the best. My kids really love going to haven but am not sure where to book next time we go. In the past we have been to reighton sands, caister, blue dolphin. Any suggestions anyone???
  13. Thanks for all the replies. I definitely wouldn't let my kitten out for a long time yet vwkittie so no worries there! My little "alfie" is absolutely fine in himself, getting very mischevious, so he is basically just a typical kitten, so think i will stop worrying and just keep an eye on him!
  14. No he doesn't go out so i know it's not that.
  15. I have a kitten who is around 13 weeks old, i have had him for a while now and he has never been a big eater but he hardly seems to eat anything! He has wet food and i sometimes give him dry food but he isn't fussed about either. Should i try changing his food and see if that helps? I told the vet when he had his first injection that he doesn't eat much and she said he was fine health wise. He had some tuna last week and ate that so i think i might just have a fussy cat on hands, lol. Can he have as much tuna as he wants or should i limit this to a treat, now and again? Any advice would be appreciated!
