  1. I have a little old fashioned silver pill box that was my nannan's, it's quite marked and is not worth anything but on the underside of the lid she had written her name and address and it smells like her perfume every time you open it. My nan died 22 years ago but when I open that box I'm 6 years old again in her living room dancing to elvis and the Beatles
  2. The pheonix, i know It's not a cafe but they do really nice coffee and the lunch should be good too get in one of the window booths by the fire and you'll not want to leave
  3. Well to be honest I'm not that bothered about them showing me up I do a good enough job at it myself and they are children if they were meant to be sensible and mature and care what people think of them then they wouldn't be much fun would they ---------- Post added 17-02-2013 at 22:28 ---------- [/color]took them to town yesterday was all fine until i mentioned walking home, then all hell broke loose, then the 11 year old decided they did not want to walk and would not move and then wanted a taxi that did not work, then wanted carrying 2 mile that did not work eighter believe me they was in trouble when they got home as i had to drag them crying through the streets Haha love this!!
  4. It really does help to have a car though we are getting on the 51 to go to western park. I would love to do this and so would my 6 year old but her 4 year old brother and 3 year old sister would not be as impressed I think this one might have to wait until the summer as I have 2 Mardy bums. I have not been to Rother valley since I was a kid and mine have never been but have heard great things about how nice it is, we have no excuse really as its only 20 mins away in the car.
  5. Cineworld on the centertainment does a film for £1 each at 10am all this week (90p each if you book online) its rise of the guardians mon- thurs then brave on Friday. Western park museum and take a picnic and some bread for the ducks. Alot of the siv leisure centres are doing splash sessions this week about £4 per adult and £2.50 per child. Depending on whether you drive chatsworth or Matlock are always a nice drive out and there is a lovely park at Matlock and you can see the deer on a walk at chatsworth. Hope this has given a few ideas
