  1. Yes she had an attic conversion? Would my cat be ok been in a room for 3 days? Dont know if i like the thought. Wouldnt she get depressed? Its just with her not been at home and then locked in a strange room for 3 days. (im trying at this second to find her another place to stay)
  2. I'm not sure quite what to do about this. My friend had offered to have my 10 month old cat this weekend as i'm off on a weekend break. My friend cat sitted for me a couple of weekends ago and all was well. Last week my friend decided to adopt a 18 month old cat. I'm now worried about my friend having my cat as i know cats are territorial and i don't want to upset either cat. Worst of all i don't want my little cat hurt by the bigger cat. My cat is a house cat and hasnt been into contact with another cat before. Could anybody advise if im just been silly and my cat will be ok. Its only for the weekend. Or if i should arrange alternate accomodation for her, which isnt easy because most of my family/friends have dogs or work alot.
  3. I am LOVING the trilogy!! Started the second book. Ive never been a big fan of book reading but these '50 shades' have me hooked. Cannot wait for the movie and seeing who they cast
  4. TBH i had a feeling it was to do with the size. Compared to her the bike is massive but i just wouldn't have thought she'd have been as scared as what she is with it. When we first brought her home she was scared of the hoover (she isn't now) but not to the extent she is with the bike. (My old cat, who i had for 16years, was around bikes all her life and never even flinched at one.) So i just found it really strange for my kitten to react the way she has. We even introduced her to a big doggy before and she wasnt half as terrified. I tried this morning holding her and moving step by step towards the bike but ended up with a very nasty scratch mark so i darent even attempt that again. I'll try the cloth advise, that may work. I tried stroking the bike (sounds mental) this morning to show her it was ok and she was sniffing at my hands after. Just really hate seeing her this put off and scared of something (my kittens my little angel) shes a house kitten atm. Shes never been outside.
  5. Wondered if any cat/kitten owners could offer me some advise. Basically last night my OH bought a pedal bike (Work purposes) and had to bring it in to the house because we dont have a secure padlock for it or anywhere to store it at the min. We placed it in the living room to begin with and noticed our 6 month old kitten wasnt about (shes normally within two steps of one of us) went to have a look for her and she was hid between our two bed pillows. Thought nothing of it and just left her, a couple of hours later she was still in the bedroom, and i had a feeling the bike was the problem. Took the bike into the bedroom and she ran out. Left the bike in our bedroom all night and she stayed in the living room. (Normally she would sleep in our room with us) So this morning i tryed coaxing her in the bedroom with some treats and she just stood in the living room meowing We've both had to come to work and im a bit worried as the bike is still in the bedroom. Why is she so terrified of the bike? Has anyone had strange behaviour like this before from their cats/kitten?
  6. It was very dark black, i had been dying it black for years and wanted to be a brunette again. No matter how many brown dyes i put on nothing would cover up the black. I used the colour B4 and it took my hair to a darkish brown then i tryed again with the light brown dyes and i'm just about there now.
  7. I used this product a few months ago and i would highly recommend it Has your hair received multiple colour applications and become dark and flat? Or if you have applied a dark brown, red or black shade (you just don’t want) then Colour B4 Extra Strength can help. Colour B4 Extra Strength hair colour remover is the safest and most effective way to remove an undesirable hair colour. ■Colour B4 shrinks the artificial dye molecules in the hair, enabling you to simply wash them away. ■What’s more Colour B4 does not touch your natural hair pigment so you are left with the colour which lay beneath your artificial shade ■Colour B4 takes you back to your lightest shade. ■It will return your hair to its natural colour if the artificial hair colour applied is darker than your natural level. 8. First are a joke!! Caught a bus from work wednesday (Hospital app) Cost me £2.50 for a 4 mile journey!! Then caught a stagecoach for 10 mile journey cost me £1.40!! I know this has nothing to do with the 'post' but had to vent somewhere
  9. I live not a million miles away and i've been in the vine both during the day and on a night time (weekend) In the day it was lovely. Quite, relaxed etc Weekends i believe (when i went in) they had a disco on and the pub was packed! Didn't see any trouble, and never have. Saying that i had a good night. (i do wish they would put more ladies toilets in there though, 2 is simply not enough )
  10. I highly reccomend a spa in nottingham called 'nottingham belfry hotel and spa' me and my partner booked an overnight stay through spabreaks.co.uk and it was fantastic!! £99.00 p/p for unlimited spa use, 2 x 30 min treatments, 2 course spa lunch, 3 course evening meal, overnight stay and buffet breakfast. We really enjoyed it and we will be going back soon. I would have paid more money for the experience i got. Could not fault it at all
