  1. No it isn't, but you can go to the Centertainment just up the road where you can find a variety of other eating establishments.
  2. I had Ross do my hair today at Love Your Hair. Definitely recommend him my hair looks amazing and he does a fab head massage.
  3. I would just park past Hunter's Bar roundabout. It's free on that end of Eccy Road. I've done it for 2 years where I park on one of the residential side streets as it's free and then either walked into to town from there or got the bus when it's raining. If you park around 8am you should be able to get a space, you just need to realise that you aren't going to be able to park that close to your work. 15/20min walk isn't that bad. If you are feeling really lazy you could just catch the bus down to your work. Good luck in your new job
  4. I use to go there a lot when I lived around Sharrowvale. I have to admit the full vegetarian menu is the most impressive I've seen so far. i normally order from there when my vegetarian mates come up to visit now and they can't rate it enough.
  5. I took my in-laws to the Chatsworth one last year. That was good. They run it for 2 weekends in a row(don't quite know what the dates are this year though). They had a brass band and carol singers, I enjoyed it. Parking was abit hectic but we did find a space.
  6. I would recommend the fat cat. Good food and good beer. It's pretty cheap for a meal there. I don't think I've ever paid more than £5 for a meal there. I don't know the cost for a group Pie and Peas but give them a ring. http://www.thefatcat.co.uk/86index.htm
  7. If you are after something abit different have you tried the tappanyaki in WasabiSabi. it's about the same price range of Wig and Pen.
  8. Has anybody tried their Evening Menu of Steakstone? I've just bought a deal on Groupon for it and wanted to know peoples thoughts...
  9. The Wick at Both Ends on West Street. That's fairly central and I think it's good value. The mains normally cost from £7 to £12 (I think), they also have a tapas menu that I haven't tried yet. But their burgers are excellent. Other people on the forum rate them too... if you look for the link.
  10. I've bought 5 or 6 times with them. Mainly restaurant meals and spa and haircut offers, I had a small problem with an ASOS voucher but it got sorted after an email. I don't have any problems with them and would recommend it to anybody. I've also bought a couple of kgb deals as well and would recommend that company too. It's abit annoying that for the kgb only takes credit cards or paypal, but at least you are protected if it goes bust.
  11. Elif's on Eccy Road is the one I go to drunk or sober. They now also deliver to Crookes so it's always an added bonus when I'm feeling lazy.
  12. Noodle Inn on London Road deliver into town. I use to live at Victoria Quays and they delivered there, so there is no reason why they won't deliver to the city centre.
  13. Give your GP a call. It should be free at the GP, me and my BF got it done by our GP's in Crookes for free. If your GP does charge then you can compare the prices on the Sheffield Travel Centre run my the teaching hospital. http://www.sth.nhs.uk/travel-clinic/vaccination-prices P.S. Our GP's recommended that we come back for our 6 month booster jab of Hep A, so that we were protected for years afterward.
  14. I was going in to see the snooker the other day and thought I saw a very fat John Parrot around the back of the Crucible. (I later saw John Parrot on the TV not looking as fat as the guy around the back of the Crucible)
