Her philosophy is still alive and well though unfortunately. We must not forget that she made selfishness, greed and contempt for the poor & weak socially acceptable.Â
Not only that, her legacy still lives and the effects are still felt. People must not ever forget how evil she was

So did he bring his dead disabled son into the foray and say how much he loved the NHS despite flogging off large chunks of it off recently?
-
Oh dear, are the crying right wing still trying to pin something on this?
-
You should take a step out of the boat Mecky, the waters not as deep as they have led you to believeÂ
I don't swear any allegiance to any party, but I certainly won't be voting for one that rules out referendums.
And just to be clear(for the sake of having to write another post:D),I won't be voting for a party just because they promise a referendum either.
Â
You don't need to officially, but we can all see on which side of the fence you sit by your posts over the last two years

How will lowering tax help reduce the deficit and lower the national debt which they doubled since 2010?
-
Is that really a smart move?I don't know how others feel about it,but for me personally,it makes me turn away from Labour even more.
The same goes for the attack on the EU referendum, whether I believe we should be in or out is irrelevant, but to say the people of this country can't have a choice doesn't seem like a very democratic country to me.
Anyhow...I just can't see Ed gaining supporters through Blair, and wouldn't be surprised if it actually had a negative effect.
Â
How can you be more turned away if you're not in their boat anyway?
-
How would the electorate know which way their local MP had voted?Â
Anyone can find out anything about anyone if they know how to do it and are patient and desperate enough

oh and thanks for the heads up

Is this another of those threads about someone getting something that someone else isn't getting? I always thought that stupid people said that it is the left who practise the politics of envy. Obviously not.Â
Well that's precisely it isn't it? The right wingers always want benefits for themselves but as soon as they don't need them they turn round and say nobody else can have them

yes be carefull when you put your clothes in the one at heeley because ive seen a few Romanians fishing the clothes out was discusted when I drove past and seen a few dragging clothes out what suppose to go to charityÂ
How do you know they were Romanians?

Some of our neighbours have Harvey Nics, Jacks Wills, Hollister. Sheffield has Blue INC.Â
Good for them, maybe ...

So; those words were 'I' and 'me'.Â
What a grey world you live in, where you deride people for wanting the best for themselves and their family.

Oh BTW, for those of you who tried to claim austerity is working and the economy is on the up, you were wrong and I was right. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/business/news/two-thirds-of-economists-say-coalition-austerity-harmed-the-economy-10149410.html

Unless you work for a public service or claim benefits, life under the Tories has been better than it was under Labour. Why would I vote for a party that will take money away from me by clobbering me with more taxes?Â
Try telling that to the working people having to rely on food banks week in week out.
Â
I've emboldened the most descriptive words in your post, which accurately sums-up the right wing

Mecky, Any chance you could answer Joker's post #161?Â
I think you maybe did not notice it...

Â
That chump went on iggy months ago so I don't have to read his vile filth

this is a very odd thing to say.Â
Â
No it isn't

If you choose to give up your vote, you can't complain you are not being listened to.Â
Yes you can

Is it any wonder people bash SCC 'Planners'?I watched for nearly two years their valiant attempts to design a 97 bus stop on Abbeydale road (them changing the design from time to time, after it caused serious accident). God alone knows how much it cost.
Â
When they do actually pass a design for a building/have a half-hearted go themselves, it's invariably a multi-coloured plastic and concrete monstrosity with no aesthetic merit whatsoever.
They're 'third-rate' (I presume you're aware of the original meaning of that phrase?).
Basically, anything to do with roads or buildings, and they're completely flummoxed. The new Moor will look like a dog's dinner if already completed construction is anything to go by. 'Planners' they are not ... by any dictionarial terms anyway.
Â
So what would you do?
-
But doesn't that inconvenience others?

These horrifying stories should've been included in the leader's debates:Â

Unfortunately he isn't alone and apart from a few sociopaths at the jobcentres/DHSS or whatever it is these days, the government is bullying staff to suspend benefits. It's a job I wouldn't do although I dare say a couple of nasties on here would jump at the opportunity

Whilst I have every sympathy for any family who loses their child; I think that there is something distasteful about thisÂ
Ah yes, I wondered when they'd trot that one out again. The NHS is safe in our hands blah blah ... despite deliberately selling it off in large chunks, underfunding and redundancies. The tories must be clapping so hard their hands are bleeding. And don't forget the Camerons were claiming every benefit under the sun for their kid. As for Sam Cameron, you can tell it's lection time - she turned up for half a morning's work just to be photographs and left staff and patients wondering where she was the rest of the time.

Has housing been increased in the last five years, I did read that 15,000 houses were to be built in East Anglia but haven't heard if they were built.Â
Wasn't there talk of a brand new spanking garden city or something daft like that?

Strange of the arch Bishop of Canterbury hasn't mentioned the persecution that's happening in the UK http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-32187294

UKIP have a very positive attitude towards ex servicemen/women's welfare plus their plans for the health service.Â
Or at least they say they do

A point from Del:
Â
David Cameron on last night's leaders debate " I am very proud that we have fed and clothed and given shelter to Syrian refugees '' ( I myself am a supporter of foreign aid but I am making the point of how Cameron has treated his own vulnerable citizens )
Â
While he has left ex service men homeless, living in rags, and being fed by foodbanks, and increased homelessness in general by 36 % and who can forget ex serviceman David Clapson found starved and dead in his unheated flat after being refused benefits !! and he was not the first or last !! Mark Wood also found starved to death in his flat after his benefits were axed.
Â
David Cameron has resided over a Tory led government of the sixth richest country on planet earth who's own citizens can be completely blocked from receiving any help and literally be left to starve in their own homes or on the street. What next for Britain ? will we just start stepping over their bodies in the streets like some third world country !!

Can't see what you've written but 10 to a penny it's whinge whinge whinge.

It's a good idea and if you think otherwise you're obviously not right in the head
