can somebody tell me if winn estate in middlewood is a mixed area, my kids are mixed race jamaican and im half egyption, where we live now is mostley an all white area and we have had a few problems, i dont want to move from bad to worse lol !!!

somedays are better then others, i have spoken with the council and housing association, also got my disabled daughters social worker on it, but still no joy im afraid, according to the council theres a waiting list to be moved out, my friends just been transfered to another estate and shes waited 6 years, so yeah there is hope, dont know if i can last another 3 years thou lol

its like this mate, if it was all good then i wouldnt want out of here would i? have a wander round and then ask yourself why many propertys are left bordered up for ages before there let out again, only the desperate would move here,

i agree, but having said that ive given up all hope of an exchange lol,

i live on lower manor and its a dump, full of alcoholics and druggies, its a dumping ground for burnt out cars, every night all you hear is the sound of cars and motorbikes joyriding up and down castlebeck, then the police helicopter overhead, the woods ajoining castlebeck are set on fire every teatime, kids run wild causing no end of problems for the few decent people there are living on lower manor, the area itself is full of fast food takeaways, there isnt a grocers or butchers locally, were overun with rats and rubbish everywhere, the housing is poor, old wooden window frames, ill fitting doors, repairs not getting done, its a lovely quiet area during the day, but come night time its a noisey hell hole with parties going on, music blasting from every other window, all out war between certain families that for what ever reason think they own the estate, its a community let loose on itself and if i"d have known then what i know now i would never have moved here, all i can do is pray that someday i can escape this **** hole well before im in need of a wooden coffin lol
