  1. I meant 9 complicated reasons being 9 versions you want to avoid buying, meaning avoid Windows 8 like the plague.
  2. Yep, I am thinking there will soon be a Windows 9 coming out to fix the mess of Windows 8, just like what 7 did with Vista.
  3. What are the best freeware combinations for security software, I am just using Avast Free for threat prevention and removal along with Malwarebytes Free for stand alone deeper removal. Anything more that Avast Free will just slow doing internet surfing and cripple my system. What do everyone else use and what is the key to getting a good combination of complementary software that does not clash.
  4. Found in this article... http://www.windows8news.com/2012/03/02/windows-8-editions-microsoft-release/ The Registry key lists the following Windows 8 editions and the 9 reasons why you should not bother upgrading: Microsoft Windows Enterprise Edition Microsoft Windows Enterprise Eval Edition Microsoft Windows Home Basic Edition Microsoft Windows Home Premium Edition Microsoft Windows Prerelease ARM Edition Microsoft Windows Prerelease Edition Microsoft Windows Professional Plus Edition Microsoft Windows Starter Edition Microsoft Windows Ultimate Edition Will Microsoft EVER get it, oh my god, talk about complicating the hell out of things and causing chaos amongst the dumbed down technophobic buying public. Why not just have 1 single basic version and let people buy into the features that they will actually want and use, instead of being force fed a bunch of useless crap that they will never ever use or appreciate, money grabbing turds.
  5. They were saying it was possible, but only for a few minutes or short period of time, but like if this girl was doing it, they said it spoke for full days and for months at a time, even if a child could do that it would cause irreparable damage to their lungs.
  6. Booked a few lanes tomorrow night and am wondering if they provide those proper bowling shoes inside or can you just wear your own footwear please, thanks.
  7. I think so, but there were also things that the girl could not do, there were things flying around the room, furniture moving and being flipped over, banging noises on the walls, teleportation and voices coming from within a small girl that were physically impossible and all of these things happening in a room full of eye witnesses. Here is a good documentary... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G7VpVbD8p_s
  8. Maybe, but taking the children out of the equation and you still had some serious stuff that still went on. There was those pictures of the girls in the air like they jumped off the bid, but look at the height and distance they went, it would take a trampoline to do that and not a bed.
  9. Hi there, strange request this but am hoping to move out as soon as possible and have been bidding for properties and not having much luck am afraid. I live alone in a rented council flat and am ready for a new start, I would ideally like a new home but would also consider a home share or even an exchange. Now, can someone help me write a detailed but brief synopsis of my situation and requirements please, this would need to be different ones for either a home share or exchange please. I am not great with words so would need some help constructing a few sentences that would be attractive to another person yet give them all the details as well.
  10. If that is the case, then it must be the biggest lie in recent history, look at all the accounts from distinguished and respectable people, all the press intrusion, independent experiences and recorded evidence, it is quite a legendary case that if happened nowadays with modern digital equipment and surveillance, we would quite honestly have the most definitive evidence of paranormal activity ever.
  11. Just been watching some old paranormal videos on YouTube and stumbled on The Enfield Poltergeist story on Unsolved Mysteries and Strange But True? Man, I know some people make up stories and do what ever they can to draw attentions, but given the vast amount of documentation, eye witness accounts and spin tingling testimonies this has to be one of the most genuine accounts that in some cases poltergeist activity actually exists. It was scary seeing the videos and hearing of the events and one can only be in awe of what happened back then in 1977-78 period and of how genuine and accurate that things were proven and how many people were involved, it really was astounding what happened.
  12. My water has just been cut off on Rainbow Road in Hackenthorpe S12, anyone know what is happening and which company is in charge, cheers???
  13. What is the quickest and easiest way to make money on the internet, I am looking for a quick fix solution to gain some extra income, any help would be appreciated.
  14. Does that mean he will quite literally break the bank to get a manager and players to do it this season, what a dream land he really lives in, what a joke.
  15. Bet Megson is sick as a dog now, what must he be feeling rite now, MM better have a trick up his sleeve or he will be the most hated man in Sheffield.
  16. Available from this website, anyone downloaded it yet and what are the initial thoughts? http://www.windows8news.com/2012/02/28/download-windows-8-consumer-preview/
  17. Can not believe Gary Megson has got sacked, what on earth is Milan Mandaric doing, Megson wins us the derby and gets us near top of table and still gets the hoof, what a joke, this will ruin our season big time and Milan is all to blame the corrupt swine.
  18. Imagine if your mum held out another day and you give birth today, that would be mum and kid born on a leap year, how freaky would that be.
  19. It is my birthday today, I am 32 today but should only be 8 years old in leap years.
  20. The whole area running from Primark in town all the way down past Castle Market towards The Wicker arches, talk about cesspit.

  22. What are your nasty habits and guilty pleasures and have you ever managed to cure them. Mine used to be biting my nails, fidgeting a lot and being a bad loser, but now I do not care less if I lose at a game and grew out of it a long time ago. Now my guilty pleasures are spicy foods, chocolate and picking at the skin on my fingers. On a more serious note, bad habits can lead to addictions and negative mind sets, I have been a rather negative person over the years due to mental problems and things never working out as expected, this can only feed to doing things that are unhealthy and detrimental to your physical well being. Negativity is damn hard to overcome as well as living an unhealthy lifestyle, also being isolated and not having that daily interaction with every day life is also a factor. People look at addictions as something that just happens and we can not do anything about it, smoking, alcohol and drugs for instance. We are our own people with our own minds, we make a choice to stick with something for the short term but years down the line you are still keeping with it, so regarding addictions they can be overcome, drugs and alcohol only feed each other, if one does not work then people go to the other for their short term fixes. Smoking is more of a fashion statement when people are younger, thinking that it makes them older and so that they fit into a certain crowd, not knowing that it will keep them addicted for life if they keep at it for prolonged use. What I am getting at is that some addictions can easily be solved from day one, I have been offered all sorts of things especially in clubs but I make a choice, yes or no. If I go with yes then chances are I could have a nasty side effect and stop or I like it and want more. I would love to be a positive person, wake up every morning and seize the day, be happy and smile, eat healthy and feel on top of the world, but in reality that is just not possible, I instead always think about what I have not got in my life as to what I can live without, I always feed into this belief that if things do not work out the way I want them too then there is no point carrying on, and always being scared the older I get the more I drift away from what I really want out of life, some days are better than others but things are always in your mind, like something tapping away waiting to be answered and when you think you have solved one issue, there is another issue freshly made ready to be dealt with and overcome again, a vicious circle. What are other peoples thoughts on this as am sure I am not alone thinking this way.
  23. If as you say we are seeing the death of international capitalism, when will the world officially be declared bankrupt and beyond repair.
  24. What are the cheapest deals for phone and unlimited broadband nowadays. Are there any price comparison websites which specialise in giving you the best deals. I also live in Hackenthorpe S12 area if that helps, cheers. I am currently using BT Infinity at the mooment but only have the basic option and anytime phone option. I do not download a lot so do not see the point in the extra speed when I only do general surfing and watching online videos.
  25. I love chilli, when ever I cook a curry with chicken I tend to put half in fridge when cooled but do not know how many days it will stand for and if I can freeze it. I have some stewing steak in a freezer bag as well as in a tin, I have also got loads of bread and loads of beans, so beans on toast most days will do. What can I do with stuff like pasta, especially spaghetti and rice, should I boil the pasta or can I cook it into a chilli con carne or something else. Also, I like tinned tuna chunks but always use it for sandwiches, can I use it for cooking like in a pan of chopped tomatoes, also, are meatballs and burgers easy to make because I have heard you only need minced beef, some spices and an egg and you can make anything.
