This surgeon most definately deserves a driver whilst banned and this should be paid for by the NHS. It is essential for the effeciency of his work and the benefit of his patients. I rate him highly having had recent surgery and would want future patients to recieve the best medical care they can have.

Not bothered reading any of the threads as I can predict what the forum readers have had to say on this matter...... but for those interested..here is my say... Plenty of jobs out there so earn your benefit! We all have a purpose on this planet, work, work,work. Find it and get it. Ban Job Seeckers allowance, they are seeking an allowance to keep them. Seems as though if the allowance does not exceed the benefit, then they aint willing to work. Wish I had the opportunity to choose such salary..... unfortunately beggars cannot be choosers! Dont exspect to jump the ladder when some of us (majority have slogged our guts off to climb that ladder0. Plenty of jobs out there and YOU have to start somewhere. Dont scrounge of the bloody tax payers if YOU are able to work. Road sweepers to PM we all have a purpose. Seek your talent!!!

I bought a small lightweight Bosch flymo for £30 from T J Hugh's two years ago. Recommend the make, it is ideal for small lawns. Does not pick up the cuttings but raking is not much effort and better for the lawn. Do not bother with a strimmer, a pair of shears will be better for the edges of the lawn. Littlegreenfingers:)

You do have rights to get your money back if you have continuous problems. I seeked free legal advice for a vehicle purchased and was told to write a letter to the dealer stating I was handing back the keys and the problems with the car also that the dealer have seven days to refund the money or it would be persued through the small claims court (you do not pay for small claims). Drive the vehicle to the dealer and put the keys are in the envelope with the letter. Initially the dealer was not going to except the car back but I parked the vehicle so that it had to be moved. Got my money back no problem. You only have these rights if the vehicle is purchased from a dealer.

Well Ms Macbeth, maybe the council should separate the ticket machines and in large bold letters state what they are for. Take twoof the useless button pushers behind the desks to deal with customers to get the queue down faster. What are the half a dosen pen pushers doing behind the reception desk, sooner or later they will need a larger reception as it looks overcrowded with staff. At the end of the day the three people standing there justifying a salary is a complete waste of my tax not to mention the other half a dozen stood doing nothing at reception. Only 3 maybe 4 actually dealing with customers. Yes it is the only way to communicate there by screaming, it shut the nerd up that was dictating that council tax is No.1 priority! Council tax is the last on my list as it is a complete and utter rip off.

Cheaper to hire a skip for my rubbish to be collectected, as that is the only service my £87 a month pays for. Council should start reducing the staff at Howden House who stand in front of the ticket machines. We are all capable of pressing a button, but 3 staff stand there justifying their pay by pushing the button for you to get a ticket. They get very irrate if you walk in and press the button!! I have not got over the increase in Council Tax when Bob Kerslake gave himself the annual increase in salary of £38,000, adding £14 annually on my tax bill. I was once told by Council Tax officer that my council tax is no.1 priority..... I screamed at him that food in my mouth was no.1 priority and no.2 was a roof over my head.... council tax is at the bottom of my priority. Still have to pay the retchid thing though. Poll Tax was cheaper than this Council Tax and look what happened to that! The tax should be based on the earnings then these fat cats would think twice about their greediness.:rant:

That's what I will do. Use Stagecoach evenings and Sundays. I will boycott First when pass runs out. Sir Moir Lockhead is making far too much, he has the Monopoly on First and look what position he will hold come May 2010! There's worse to come. I will walk to work and blame First if I'm late, walk home as it makes no difference to time on the journey. I will definately support Stagecoach. Off to catch one now to the pub. Can rely on this service!

If I had the revenue I would put in Solar Panels, not to light the streets but for enery in my home, any excess would be sold to enery company's. My council tax pays for street lighting, or so I thought. I do not benefit from this as there's not enough street lamps here.....but am I complaining?! KenH, lithium (Li) can be recycled as like all elements on earth, just that not many companies do this! Sky Walker, Solar Enery is still viable in England, we have enough illuminosity to convert this to energy. We do not live in the dark ages!!

If First had provided a reliable service on this route Andy C then maybe it would of been a viable service for them. I have said for years, give this service to an operator that wants to provide an adequate service. Let Stagecoach run this route.

Think we should have a passenger strike day with First, teach the company a lesson for not providing adequate service. I am sick of this company. They are greedy and grumpy. Stagecoach is a more reliable company, no matter how deep the snow they keep their buses running. They are fair and friendly AND should be the main operator in Sheffield.
