  1. Hi all, Does anybody know a good garage that is known to do good work at decent prices? Somewhere on the west side of central would be best. Cheers
  2. Does anybody have any recommendations for a good plumber in the Sheffield area? We've about had enough of our old one (£200 for £60 wickes radiators that break after a year etc etc)...
  3. If you could bring it next week that would be great. I'll use my other one til then. Cheers
  4. Guilty - it's my ball! Seems like I managed to forget a lot of things today
  5. I worked out why it seemed like a short game today - we start at 7 not 7:30 don't we!?
  6. Is this still going on? Haven't been able to attend due to knee and exams.
  7. Can probably make it too (although knee is sore) - damn I look slow and lazy on that video! I think I broke into a jog for about 10 seconds total
  8. I definitely think we'd benefit from the larger court - that smaller room gets HOT in a hurry, and I know you jump shooters might not have noticed, but the rims in there aren't that great. RE spectator space, it is a bigger room with basic gym benches down the side and a little bit of room behind the baselines but not really any stands or anything like that. Put me down for next week - I badly need extra fitness. 8 - Rich
  9. Not that we're likely to hit it, but what about an upper limit of 18 (i.e. 3 teams of 6 = 5 + one sub)? I reckon anywhere between 10 and 18 and we should be ok.
  10. Just to throw out an opinion, I would say that if we get 10 names down for a given wednesday, then it's a goer for that week, but if we don't then it isn't. There will probably be one or two people that won't make it at the last minute, so any less than that and you might end up with small numbers and big court bills. Since we're currently at 5 (without SheffCruiser), I don't know if we're going to have the numbers this week, unless there's a rush tomorrow. A lot of people who've expressed interest haven't put their names down yet, but it seems like there should also be a cut off point. Usually I'd recommend by the end of the Monday before the game (which is about to pass anyway) to allow for booking. But I'd invite other people's views on numbers and cut off points and feasibility for this week.
  11. I have a ball btw, but anybody who has one should probably bring it. No such thing as too many.
  12. Perhaps we can go without you? Depends on numbers maybe. With the block booking, I'd be cautious until numbers stabilise. I'm not sure if people will be too hot on the idea of coaching as opposed to casualish gaming, but we can always do lay-up lines and there are probably some shooting drills and whatnot on the internet.
  13. Might be an idea for the person who's going to pay the venue (Sheff?) to bring a lot of pound coins too - just thinking back to my 5-a-side days. I've a feeling you're going to see some notes flying around.
  14. Wednesday between 7-8:30 sounds like a good slot to me. I should be good to go this week, and I might be able to bring a buddy too. People should know (correct me if I'm wrong) that it's king edward vii LOWER school (which, curiously, is the one further up the hill), i.e. the one next to Tapton school, on Darwin Lane, NOT the upper school, which is off Glossop Road near Broomhill. Can I suggest that people 'put their names down' in a list for this week's attendance so that we get a firm idea of how many to expect? I'll start it off: 1) Sheff_Cruiser 2) Dangerous_D
