Marley is a 3 year old Golden Retreiver. He is very sociable with other dogs, well-behaved and a happy dog. He is great with children (we have a 3 year old grandchild) and his favourite games are playing ball and ‘catch me’ with other dogs. He has been castrated and micro chipped. He doesn’t jump up at anyone and he doesn’t climb stairs.
We were asked if we would adopt him 18months ago because he used to play with our Golden Retreiver-Murphy- when they met on walks, and his owner couldn't have him at his new rental house,.We wern't looking for another dog but felt that we couldn't see him living in a garage-which seemed to be his owners only other choice,so we gave him a home.
But having recently moved to a smaller home, we find that having 2 Golden Retreivers is too much, so we are looking for a loving and caring home for Marley.
His vaccinations are up to date and he is in good health. He is good on a lead and loves running free-especially chasing squirrels! He is good at coming back when called.
Marley is looking for a happy loving home, preferably with children but definitely with a garden.
Marley doesn't chew things, although he loves to have a soft toy that he can bring to greet you with.
Goldies don't like to be left alone for long periods every day, so he wouldn't be suitable for you if your house is empty all day regularly.
