I had a walk down the other month and it was very eerie, run down and nothing like i remember how it used to look like when i was growing up. A real shame,it could be made into something much more of a community focal point if planned properley. Restore the pond to its former glory, put a kids park down there and planned activities, open a cafe in the bath house(i remember going to parties above the bath house, theres a community hall in there)and try and make something of it.Millhouses and graves thrive nearly all year round,i know its not on that scale, but the surroundings and history are amazing. Come on sheffield city council, dont let a little gem go to wrack and ruin.

There is nothing more racial than saying `asian looking`to describe someones physical appearance-than saying `white`in a description. -

I went to birley spa infants and juniors when i was a nipper, and can recall certain tales of a little girl who was killed in the normanton springs/woodhouse area called Sally Anne i think, she haunted the area, infact the tale is that old that my parents reffered to the area as the `Sally`s` when they were kids in relation to hauntings down there. Anyone know anymore info they can add to the tale? who can shed more light on it??? It used to freak me out when i was a kid,and used to hate walking down and around the birley spa bath house,a place we used to hang out when we were kids cos it was a hotspot for sightings. -
Last time i fished there the little cafe was there and it used to do a cracking brekky.

Since moving to the area of frecheville some years ago,we recentley moved to the bottom end of frecheville just of alport road in a cul de sac. At one end of the road there is a dead end where 4 stone built semi`s are, totally different from the other builds. I once heard that they used to be a police station?can anyone back this up?

Gravity. This film is made to be seen in the cinema in 3.d. Im afraid i wont be rushing to buy the blu-ray as it would be boring minus the cinema viewing expirience. 6/10

:rant:Far Far too many crammed into programmes now. I watched the chase earlier and there were 4 ad breaks-each 4-5 mins long over a programme advertised to be on an hour! Is it just me,or are they sneaking them on more often and for longer! I wouldnt mind, but 90% of prime time tv programmes are pre sponsored and advertised before every moment of a re-start to the programme!!!!!
