  1. This assumes the OP was at fault. We don't know if that was the case. It may have been the other driver at fault.
  2. If Barnsley win their game in hand by two goals or more, they would take 3rd spot and push SWFC into 4th place.
  3. The Scottich Highland Species has four legs, with those on one side being longer to cope with the mountain paths. This also makes them lean.
  4. Can you hang on until next Tuesday? https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m001ks5t which will give an answer BBC2 8.00 pm The following week they're dealing with pork pies, so they might be fibbing.
  5. A nice gentle Spring stroll to Cheltenham shouldn't be too arduous.
  6. Were Look North notified about First's decision? If they didn't know, theyy're hardly likely to be able to broadcast it. Apologies for going back on topic.
  7. Was tonight Harry Kane's final appearance for Spurs in the FA Cup? I think he'll be looking for a club where he can win trophies next season.
  8. You'll also find mattresses positioned to cushion the fall should one slip on a banana skin.
  9. Give a shout out for Hallam FC, Sheffield FC and Stocksbridge who all won away as well.
  10. My understanding is that Sheffield Council hold the rights for any markets within something like a 10 Km radius, so in this case they are enforcing that right. Concessions to other markets in the area are simply concessions, not rights. At the recent Heritage Fair in the Millennium Galleries, any stall wishing to sell items had to have a temporary market licence in order to operate.
  11. If a player exhibits fair play, then the correct response should be to award them a bunch of flowers at the very least. Incidents in Cup matches could be rewarded with boxes of Cadbury's Roses. Goalkeeper need to keep a look out for soft centres.
  12. According to https://boxrec.com/wiki/index.php/Rocky_Marciano_vs._Archie_Moore they both weighed 188 lbs
  13. I don't have much time for Piers Morgan, but in this I think he's hit the nail on the head:
  14. I think that only apples to Visitors. Residents can apply for an Authorised Residential Sustenance Exemption which costs ten pounds for the year. I'm not sure what the penalty is for showing an expired Authorised Residential Sustenance Exemption when challenged by a Council Official.
  15. Have a look at https://www.freebmd.org.uk/cgi/search.pl
  16. There's a U3A Welsh group. They might be interested.
Contact Tony on 07896107137 for an informal chat in English about the class resuming in the New Year. Do you speak Spanish? Do you want to improve your knowledge and learn more about the Hispanic world? There's the opportunity to fulfil this in Sheffield. We are a group of retired people meeting each Friday at 10.00 for a 2 hour class in Sharrow.
  18. Have you tried the links on the website? I see there's one link with a Sheffield University address and my understanding is that the University are culling email addresses.
  19. I've had nothing but trouble with the latest HP printer
  20. Just in case anyone is thinking of going up Wincobank Hill with a metal detector, it would be illegal. The Hillfort on Wincobank Hill is a protected Scheduled Monument and the use of metal detectors without written consent of Historic England is as a finable offence under section 42 of the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Areas Act 1979. Furthermore, metal detecting on any council owned land requires the permission of Sheffield City Council and will only be permitted when it is part of a carefully planned programme of archaeological research. This is to protect the special archaeological interest of the area for the enjoyment of this, and future, generations.
  21. That's unfair! The date keeps changing.
  22. There was also the notorious case of the JW organisation a few years back http://www.bailii.org/ew/cases/EWHC/QB/2015/1722.html
