Only just found this post, I dont know if God exists or not, but i personally dont believe he does, My view is that god was made up in the distant past to explain the things that mankind doesnt understand. After all, there were gods that represented all the weather , ie sun rain storm wind the moon etc etc. generally those gods are not around anymore because we understand via science. The God represented in modern times is still around because its a way for those people that still dont understand why we are here, (if there is a reason for us being here) Just because we cant explain all the wonderful things around us doent meen that some almighty presence had to create them, we just dont know yet, if indeed we ever will. I will say it is mind blowing trying to understand how anything at all came into existance, its not logical for anything to exist at all. The old question how did anything (including God) ever begin. Something from nothing is just mind numbing.

on Good Friday morning around 7 am i had a call from sheffield police to inform me that they had recovered my stolen van. I in formed them back that i hadnt had my van stolen and i was looking at it on my drive. They then told me the registration number of the stolen van and i confirmed it was mine. I went out to look at it and found that the reg. plates had been stolen during the night. So it was obvious they had stolen some other vehicle and attached my plates to it, while they went out probably committing crime. It may well be, that these people have taken a pic of your car and reg. number in order to clone a similar car they may have or intend getting with your reg details, so the implications for you could be very troublesome, either through unpaid speeding and parking fines constantly dropping through your door, or accustations of crime elsewhere in the country. Although you will be innocent in all of this, it could still end up a costly and time consuming business for you. Im not saying this will happen, but it would be wise to call your local police and let them log the incident for any future reference.

like all workers that serve the public, they cant win, they can please one and in the same instance upset someone else, the public are the most difficult to work for in what ever sector of public service you are in. They grind you down. Ive always found if you are right with someone they are usually ok with me. Every one has a bad day or wake up in a mood, its just that they cant hide it like the rest of us. So give em a break.

i get that point, but how many tenants do? is that the same with a normal TV aerial then? You can see dishes on just about every house, i dont believe many have asked for permission. -

just a thought, a bit out of sink with this thread, but since when do u need to get permission to erect a dish on a council house or private house for that matter. I think there are planning laws in place, but i dont think anyone has been stopped erecting a standard size dish.
