    ..is boring.
  1. I actually did miss it this evening, when I went for a wander to try to find where it is. I think my problem was that I wasn't walking far enough down Arundel Gate. I was stopping as soon as I reached the hill going down to the train station, when it appears I should have gone on just a little farther. Thanks for the replies all.
  2. I know it is on Arundel Gate somewhere, but am not sure which specific building it is. Is it one of the buildings on the same side as the O2? If so, which one? Thanks
  3. I'm going to post here as I'm having the same problem, so there seems little point in starting a brand new thread. I connect my laptop with an O2 USB modem and it has been working fine until a couple of months ago, when it started running slowly then crashing whenever I connect to the net, regardless of the browser I use. I only use a few programs on it, so I have removed everything not necessary, and I have ran CCleaner a couple of times. This seemed to have solved the problem somewhat, but it is still present, albeit nowhere near as frequently. It's still annoying when it does happen, so I'd like to stop it from happening again, but apart from the above I'm not sure what else to try. Any suggestions?
  4. Well my save games are intact but I've lost all of my Heavy Rain trophies. Guess I'm replaying some chapters today.
  5. I'd rather hear them say that than they can't fix it and we all have to go out and buy slim models instead.
  6. I feel for you. I just finished a couple of games 100% and started Heavy Rain on friday. I don't want to have to start again on all three.
  7. I tried this morning and can't load any games. It fails to load my trophies and then quits out of the game. Guess I'll have to leave it for 24 hours and see if it sorts itself tomorrow. I won't be figuring out the identity of the origami killer today I suppose.
  8. Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, by Robert M. Persig. A Confederacy of Dunces, by John Kennedy Toole. Those are two books that most people haven't read, yet should.
  9. I too will second Ham Radio- the murder mystery episode. Probably my favourite half an hour of sitcom.
  10. I don't know about any gaming forums (I only tend to go on GameFaqs) but I would well recommend everyone on here pick up a copy of this game. I bought a GBA copy of it a while ago now and very rarely has it left the GBA slot on my DS. It's stupidly addictive and I still play it to this day. I used to suck at it beyond belief but I've gotten a lot better since I first bought it. I prefer the levels that are more puzzle orientated, and require a bit more thought. I think I paid £12.99 for it when I got it, and I'd still gladly pay that amount today.
  11. Not sure about that, but I've nearly come to blows with people who hit me with a blue shell just as I'm about to cross the line. Stupid, dirty cheating blue shells. I hate 'em so much.
  12. Off topic, but any chance to post this XKCD comic about correlation is one I can't pass by: - http://xkcd.com/552/
  13. What is it they say? "Facebook: Less paedo than Bebo."
  14. xkcd.com penny-arcade.com cracked.com wikipedia.org digg.com badassoftheweek.com guardian.co.uk gamesradar.com randi.org badscience.net Those are the only ones I read on a regular basis, but I do a lot of random browsing as well.
  15. No, but that's nothing to do with the weather and more to do with the fact that I've recently been made redundant.
