Hi Looking for any reccommendations on rooms to hire for a Birthday Party. Approx 60 people on the 12/13th November. Unfortunatly we have left it a little late and have tried some places Concord Golf Club, Hillsbourough Arena, Hills'boro WMC, Office and are all fully booked. Was hoping for somewhere that will allow kids,have private room and bar with DJ. Any suggestions S5 side of Sheffield or even City Centre?

My mum bought a bracelet from a concession in Debenhams last week, she attempted to excahnge the bracelet as it didn't fit properly, but she was refused. The girl point blank refused to give her a refund or exchange, even though the receipt said you could have either within 28 days. The girl was very rude and told my mum to leave as she wasn't going to change her mind, then wrote on the receipt not to exchange/refund should my mum try and take it back to a different store. My mum was quite upset and went away, but i called and spoke to her supervisor the next day who was happy to give me an exchange if we came back in? Think they are trying it on....

Agree with the first part. But what about the boarded up houses, dog crap that doesn't get picked up(everywhere!!), the mess the roads are in which will probably be the last place anyone will sort. People's front gardens are a right state, toys, sofa's, fridges etc left in the front gardens, not to mention they have every seen a lawn mover or hedge trimmer. Burgalry(sp?) - an 82 year old woman was locked in her cupboard last month while 2 young lads helped themselves to her pension money. A man(I suspect a drug dealer) had his front window ripped out and 2 men go in and beat him up across the road from me. The police have been on my road a few times due to kids hanging around and people arguing. My sister is a special police officer and covers Shiregreen amongst other areas, she says she is scared of what she see's, espcially in lower shiregreen. I use to come around her alot when I was younger and it was no way as bad as it is now. I own my own house unfortunatly, so work which has been done on the houses has no benefit to me, they should work on the outside a bit more

You seem to know more than the people who work for them. Thanks Mine is a privatly owned house, and they have dug up half of the front drive a few weeks ago and not been back? They have remove a big tree, which has caused all the path to be brought up aswell as the drive. they did tell me they would replace it with a smaller tree, although they have now redone the kerb i can't see this happening. The whole road just looks awful...and concrete. Not natural at all
