Help needed from children and young people in s8
ssemmo replied to ssemmo's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
Apologies if you felt insulted was not the intention. I can also say that I do in fact live on the area in question as well and have experience with children as I am a playworker. None of us are going into this blinded or with rose tinted glasses but do so just to try and improve on the points people have clearly got concerns with in the area. -
Help needed from children and young people in s8

Thank you for your responses. I have also noticed the boundary club in a state and its a ashame that its been left to get into that state, hopefully it will be occupied again soon. As for the other responses i thank you for your narrow minded opinion and glad you've taken the time to respond. -
Hi all parents of children and young people reading this, I am currently working with an independent women's group to try to receive funding to enable opportunities for children and young people in the s8 area of Sheffield (jordanthorpe and batemoor) I would like to gather some information from a variety of children and young people to establish what they feel could improve their social activities/lives within the area. How do they feel that the area poses problems to them as they grow up, i.e lack of facilities, money, work, opportunities. what would they like to see in the area? How will these changes make a difference to them? If this is something you would like to help with and live in the suggested areas please either comment or msg me with responses. I do not wish to know names, addresses or any other personal info, just age range. Many thanks for reading and hope you can help:)

Does anyone know of any garden makeover programmes or something similar that could help me to tackle a jungle of a garden for my mum. Me and mum will be attempting to do as much as possible over the next weekend but I wondered whether anyone else volunteers for these types of things?
