Hi I'm going to sheffield to study and my family is coming along with me for a few days...can anyone recommend any good hotels close to the university of sheffield or at least in the city center? preferebly 5 star hotels... Thank you

Yes i did check out the Uni's website but the information in it is very general...and well no offence but all official university websites tend to polish the truth a bit in order to get students to apply...i need info from the locals there...specially people that have been in my shoes ...u know to minimize the cultural shock i'll be facing anyways thanx again

Hey I'm from the UAE ( United Arab Emirates) and I'm having a really hard time making a decision between studying in manchester or sheffield...i would really appreciate it if someone could point out the differences between living in sheffield and manchester...i haven't been to either city and i'm sorta worried about making the wrong decision... so if anyone could help me out here i'd really appreciate it.. p.s: r there any arabs studying in the University of Sheffield by any chance?
