  1. Had some good nights there. Went to see a rock band called Tessa Mensa, really good. We all ended up in Rebels after. Also a mate of mine, Stan was in a band called Johnny 7. (hobsons choice. The seaside) saw them play there. I remember after the gig Marcus trying to get everyone to go to the Indian restaurant that was across the road! Remember the huge moose head above the bar?
  2. I used to live on Siemens Close opposite the old infants school until 1982. So many happy memories, the rec, playing on the "island" - Tinsley roundabout, the shops. I went for a walk around there not long ago, sad to say it's lost it's spirit, really sad. I miss those times and the people from them.
  3. The Marples Always a good night in there Every night of the week n all!
  4. What is your coaches name? What gym does he coach at? What stuff has he ordered about Arly and where from?
  5. The Commercial at the end of Weedon Street, great pint.
  6. I remember a Linda Housely that used to live on the same road as me in Tinsley. . . . . Wow,I wonder what happened to her??
  7. Did you used to have the "Beer Off" on Norborough Road?
  8. I remember it well. Loved it,and the Wap. In me mid 40s now,but if summat like that opened again,I reckon Id be there!
  9. They were once used to show where electricity cables were underground. some old build houses have them on the brick work to show where the cable enters the house. I have the letters EL and a letter T above it, etched into the brick to show where the mains cable is,and that its a T-junction. When a lot of the old slum dwellings were cleared in Sheffield, before demolition they used to daub the words "EL OFF" on a property to show the electric had been disconnected.
  10. Park House School Reunion Friday 28th September Bessemer pub (the old Fountain Bar, Pig and Whistle)
  11. Someone honest, caring, tactile, loving. Someone who, when they see an honest genuine bloke like me,doesnt think theyre going to grind an axe for all the past hassles with previous boyfriends - been there and got wardrobe full of the T-shirts. Just a bit of romance - is it a thing of the past??
  12. Bloody Hell, Dont I know it. Any ladies want to prove me wrong . . . pm me.
