Nephew wasn't born with the idea that monsters live under his bed. This has been suggested to him at his tender age. Now he believes it to be true. Religion works in the same way.

And equally, neither was jobee there, so if he can make statements about what happened, I can make them with equal authority, at least on the basis that neither of us were actually there.

I don’ think you are a liar, liars have good memory‘s , it‘s a prerequisite so that they don’t get found out. You don’t remember my previous opinions, so are of the hook. You simply missed a trick, and find it hard to admit.

As stated earlier, I think that there have been both good and bad points from you and jobee. The difference being, that jobee has not jumped onto this rimming thing (in your veiled, yet clear! manner). I find this rude, immature, and a definite sign of weakness in your conviction.

I have an old Daihatsu Fourtrak that I use mainly for driving in bad weather and off -road activities....its a real bonus in snow and torrential rain.....there are too many people with so called 'status' 4X4's just trying to look good....they don't!!! I have total respect for a muddy, rusty series 1 land Rover or a battered old 1970's series 1 Range Rover than I do a brand new status 4X4 that has never ventured off the road in case it gets dirt on its shiny paintwork!!!! And status 4X4's are awful at anything remotely 4X4 related in any case.....My 1992 old Fourtrak will outperform ANY new status 4X4, see them every snow fall, trying to look impressive and climb hills covered in snow and having as much success as a standard 2 wheel drive car....last snowfall I saw a brand new Mitsubishe 4X4 think it can handle solid ice on a hill.....oops.... CRUNCH!!!!

 

And guess who was kind enough to give it a tow out of the stone wall it had inserted itself into?

Cyclones argument is based upon reason and evidence and is sound both in and outside his mind as it is a fundamentally sound argument. In stark contrast Jobee's argument is based upon neither reason nor evidence but so far as I can tell seems primarily based upon emotion and only holds up within his own emotionally charged mind.

My 'argument' against jobee is perfectly sound. In pretty much every statement he's made someone has provided conclusive proof that he was mistaken. He ignores all such posts, or responds with random links. He also ignores posts which question the fundamental morality behind his suggestion of banning things.

Your argument is sound in your mind, as is jobee’s in his. Are you right or is he? I see good and bad in both of your posts. From high up on this fence I can see the debate between you clearly, but can also see a broader view that the pair of you are missing due to the heat.

Another film worth watching, made by Chanel 4 if I remember rightly, is The Purple Triangle. It makes the point that not just Jews were slaughtered, but is a bit blood curdling. It isn't fiction, it is an accurate documentary.
