How much of climate science do you think you really understand?
dogbreath replied to TeaFan's topic in General Discussions
Exactly, but because his expert opinion doesn't fit in with his view, Wildcat instead resorts to doubting the expert's integrity. BTW, I've looked at this http://www.skepticalscience.com website that Wildcat accepts as gospel truth and keeps linking to and it's actually run by a one-man pressure group who freely admits to not being a climate scientist! "About the author Skeptical Science is maintained by John Cook. He studied physics at the University of Queensland, Australia. After graduating, he majored in solar physics in his post-grad honours year. He is not a climate scientist." Expert opinion? I think not! -
Yet again Blunkett is robbing us blind!

Well of course he can't give the real reason, too many research grants and government taxes depend upon perpetuating the global warming myth! But then there's no point arguing with you as I see from your previous posts on this subject that you prefer to stick your head in the sand and only link to articles that agree with your increasingly isolated view. Yet you also admit that when it comes to climate science you don't know what you're talking about on the post I've linked to below, so we probably shouldn't listen to you anyway! http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/showpost.php?p=5871766&postcount=29 -

Exactly. Now that they're free to speak the truth having been gagged for all this time, most scientists are coming out now and saying that global warming is a myth. If anything it's those climate change activists like the Greenpeace beardy-weirdy in Wildcat's link that are starting to look ridiculous. At the end of the day, when the UN's Climate Chief resigns in shame following the Climategate scandal, it's pretty obvious the game is up. -
If that's your idea of humour I can see why you're single!

I have it on good authority that when David Blunkett was a Sheffield MP, he insisted on having not just first class train travel down to London but he also demanded that all 4 seats around the table were reserved for him so that he didn't have to share a table with anyone else. Tory or Labour it doesn't matter, they all have their snouts in the trough.

How do you ask someone if they want more?

Was he Jewish? -
If the other parking space had been coned off, he shouldn't have tried to park in it. He should have read the small print in his cone-tract!

The Red Lion on Charles Street in town covers all your needs, or if you're in Broomhill you could try the Fox & Duck. The only problem at this time of year is that you might get some braying ex-public schoolboy wanting to put the 6 Nations rugby on instead.

Try googling something called "Climategate", it will tell you all you need to know. I see that Yvo De Boer, the UN Climate Chief, resigned in shame yesterday following the Climategate scandal. Seems at last people are waking up to the reality! http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/2010/feb/18/yvo-de-boer-resignation-un-climate-change-body -
60 economists back Chancellor's decision on cuts

Most economists support whoever pays them the most. "Expert" opinions don't come cheap!
