  1. Fantastic Karl, I'll give him a call. I appreciate you getting back to me, thank you. All the best, Yoush
  2. Hi all, I'm looking for a local company to potentially discuss and setup a security system for my property. 3 - 5 CCTV cameras. Need to be able to record to a backup system and have night vision. Also need to be able to stream live footage to mobile and computer devices. Also looking at a driveway gate, possibly automated but looking to discuss. If anyone knows a good company, or anyone is prepared to handle this please get in touch. Regards, Yoush
  3. Hi all, I've been looking for old maps, pictures/photos and information about River Terrace (parallel to Holme Lane). I'd love to know more about what used to be there, any maps and pictures of that road. If anyone has any information, maps, images or knows where I could find out more I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
  4. Mod Note As this is an employment offer, please repost this in the correct section, "Employment". As stated clearly at the top of this section, advertisements are not permitted in this section under Forum Terms and Conditions.
  5. all of the above I want to avoid! I just want to go somewhere with my italian girlfriend that isn't populated by drunken louts, wannabe hooligans or any other idiots looking for an excuse to ruin someones day. I think Town is out of the question... Any ideas?
  6. Looking for an atmospheric pub that will have English and Italians watching the game. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I was thinking of somewhere on Ecclesall Road, but anywhere with a good atmosphere really Thanks!
  7. hi guys, thanks for getting back to me...any chance people can leave some contact details so I can get in touch? Thanks again for getting in contact, all the best!
  8. Hi all, I've been playing snooker for about 3 months in total. Really enjoying it and getting some kind words from the locals (I don't think they are winding me up, but who knows lol) Anyway, I'm getting to the stage where I would like to buy my first cue. I'm getting a lot of different advice, but to be perfectly honest, I just want something that will do me for a year or 2. My mentality is basically, I'm sick of using a different cue everytime I play (taking at least 2 frames to get used to it) and they are all bent lol I was hoping to get something around the £35 mark. I've seen some of those cues at places like Sports Direct etc. Some people are really strongly advising me not to bother, but I'm really only wanting to have a cue thats not bent and will allow me to have a bit more consistency! I'd really appreciate some advice and tips for where and what to buy. If anyone has anything for sale, please PM me. I'm mainly looking for advice before I buy All the best & sorry for the long post
  9. Thanks for the information. Not really looking to do this as a form of "career". Just something to get me out of the house, so i thought i might as well hit 2 birds with 1 stone. But yeh, thanks again ;-) All the best
  10. Hi all, Joining this thread a little late I'm really interested by the job of dog walker. I have had dogs most of my life and enjoy the good out doors. I'm not experienced working with other dogs, but I'm happy to help out. If its for a pensioner I would not charge as I think its part of our community to help. If its not a pensioner then I'll do it for a small price. If anyone is interested, by all means give me a Private Message. All the best
  11. absolutely, and it the others that ruin the appearance of those who really do need the benefit! cheers for your reply
  12. yes, it can feel like university was a waste. But the experience was good, and even if the degree isn't worth as much as previously hoped, the experience of understanding this is priceless! Yet I don't believe it is totally pointless, I just think that in a time like this, jobs are generally hard to come by anyway! Each to their own, the saying - its not what you know but who you know can often be very true!
