Hi guys, I understand that NUS extra student cards can be used stagecoach buses so that the fare is 60p like a normal student but is this the same on the tram and first buses?

Hi guys mainly I just wanted to ask if anyone knew the central youth clinc Easter opening times? I will say I have looked on the website but it doesn't say anything about school holidays or Easter times ect! I thought whilst I was on the website I would take a look at the other areas of it and I noticed that under the 'school drop in sessions' it said myers grove school had a drop in-session as of what I know myers grove school doesn't excist anymore therefor this is giving young people thought the city the wrong information and it's stupid!! anyway rant over just wanted to know about the Easter opening times thank you!:-)

Found out that two dancers had clashed in rehersals and both injured themself there for the wait was due to having to change the routine and lighting and everything!

i didn't actually go my nan&grandad did and they said it was really good!

Hi just wondered if anyone knows what happend yesterday at the night preformance of the king and I last night, it started late, heard there was an ambulance..

im 15, 16 in july and i really need a job! iv asked around and its useless! you cant really babysit unless you know the person and they trust you, you cant work in shops, you cant do anything these days! iv got two paper rounds and there killing me! iv only got time to work on weekends and paper rounds are such a drag! if anyone could please help me it would be very much appreciated!

i might make my self sound really stupid here, but iv seen loads of girls/young women wearing polo shirts but every where i seem to look online and in store i can never find one! would anyone have any ideas where i could get one from in sheffield town center for about £15??

Recently i have noticed that trying to get a job at the age of 15 is getting harder and harder. Alot of people only want a weekend job but there impossible to get. Paper rounds are all taken, you cant really babysit unless you know the parents, and not many places will take you because of 'insurance' reason, i mean it seems like just independent business are the only ones taking on young people these days but they don't even seem to be taking people on! I'm 15 and iv been looking for a job for about 4 months now and it seems almost impossible, its stupid.

Been out of the city for a few days come back today and someone has informed me that Myers Grove School Stannington had been set on fire, is this true? or is it just rumor. The information i have is 'it happened yestarday(14/8) morning, it took the firemen like 3 hours to put it out'

Don't you believe it. We weren't consulted at all....are you from one of the feeder schools coming in or from WW?

no im from myers and my parents got to say whether they wanted formal or informal, then the pupils in our school had an assembly with options on and we had to choose which we liked but non of this ideas ever got used!

pupils and parents at wisewood were as excluded from the decision process as pupils and parents at myres, yes there will be a them and us thing when forge valley opens which is to be exspected as myres and wisewood have always been rival schools and the staff need to be prepared for this and deal with the matter before things get out of control there has already been incidents of the 2 schools fighting in hillsborough park, as for the staff that have been given jobs both wisewood and mayres staff had to apply for their jobs again it wasnt an automatic right to have a job there and if more wisewood staff have been given jobs at forge valley than myres staff then its because they were better teachers,

at the end of the day no pupils and parents have not had any involvment in any of the decisions made it looks like the new head dianne mckinly has jnust egnored what everyone has said and done what she wants, forge valley is going to be a good school with the latest up to date facilities yes the uniform is horrid and we as parents should have been given more consideration in the decision process, staff know who the trouble makers are at each school so will know which pupils to keep a closer eye on

Pupils and Parents had a 'vote/choice' in which they said their views about the uniform, but in actual fact non of this got taken into consideration therefore the governors designed the uniform which i thinks disgusting its a 'COMMUNITY' school for crying out loud.

i really dont want to read through the whole of this thread but i am a future pupil of forge valley and i got my school uniform and however vile the jumper is the polo shirt and p.e t-shirt are actually decent :-)

What jobs could a 15 year old such as myself do as maybe a summer/ saturday job? i have two paper rounds but i'd much prefer to do a real job. Its hard because everyone just turns you down and says 'oh look at them probably just another lazy stereotypical teenager' when im really not. can somebody help?
