  1. Hey! I ordered mine at the beginning of the month and they were posted out on the 6th (I'm in S35)
  2. Well! Small update... Came home from work today to find two of my eight orders from Play.com had been delivered. So hopefully the rest will follow suit soon (and fingers crossed the forecast snow isn't like it was last time...)
  3. Has anybody had any luck with parcel deliveries in Chapeltown yet? I live in S35 and am waiting for a few things from Play.com that were posted on the 6th. I know there’s been quite a backlog but am curious to know if anyone in my area has had any success with their deliveries yet? Thanks in advance!
  4. Hey everyone, I just wanted to let you know that my aunt and her partner have both had weight loss surgery (sleeve and bypass respectively), as have a few of their friends. They attend the monthly support groups but thought there was a hole in this area, so my aunt's set up a Facebook group. Basically so everyone can speak to one another about their experiences, ask questions of others who have been there, etc. A once a month meeting isn't always enough. I'm a new member so it won't let me post a link, but if you just search for Weight Loss Surgery Sheffield on facebook, it should come up =] I have to say the results have been amazing. My aunt's partner had the bypass done in June and has lost between 5 and 6 stone now, after struggling with obesity for the past 40+ years. My aunt's surgery was a month or two later and she's now lost about 3 stone. Their friend had the surgery last year and I believe she's dropped 11 or 12 stone now, it's astounding. I also just want to say to people who keep saying this is the easy way out and people don't have willpower etc... I've seen this firsthand (I live with my aunt and her partner) and it is in no way the easy way out. From having to do the milk and yogurt diet while being lactose intolerant and having your body reject the 3 pints of milk a day... to the pain of recovery... it is not the easy way out at all, and I don't think you have any right to judge.
