  1. I agree with that, apart from Griffin. I think he is just corrupt, lining his own pockets and will retire very soon on an EU pension and a huge payout he fairly recently had written into the BNP constitution. I’m not pro BNP, far from it. But I do have an avid interest in far right politics. I assume you have been following the rantings of a mad Scouse hit man? Obviously he has a screw loose, but I do believe at least some of those he is pointing out are working against rather than for the BNP. And I think this Walker is one of them. Lived in Japan, is well cultured, has a mixed race marriage....and then joins the BNP. Doesn't fit.
  2. There is a growing suspicion amongst certain parties within the BNP that this chap (and his brother, and a few more) are in fact Searchlight plants. This isn't the first bit of bad publicity centred around him and his ilk. It won’t be the last neither I reckon. Forces are at work etc.
  3. I give up. Did you care to read the context I actually posted that in? Thought not. He/she said he thought I started the thread as Hallam was an easy target. I said he/she thinks wrong as that wasn't the case. As for the last bit, not worthy of reply.
  4. Well, youthink wrong. Not very good with these assumptions, are we? I started it because I work at Hallam and thought the decision was wrong.
  5. Yes, you have made it clear that is your opinion. I beg to differ however, but that’s by the by. My reply was in response to you saying the title of my thread was untrue, when clearly it was true. However, you were clearly so desperate to publicly affirm your own sense of superiority that you rushed to reply to the thread with condemnation and without a second thought for the actual truth.
  6. No they didn't. Staff and students at Hallam held one of their own accord. The universities stance was "There is no organised large scale silence at the University".
  7. No. The staff in there took it upon themselves to do that. Good on them I say.
  8. Oh I see. You use no media outlet at all to inform yourself of anything? You just "make up your own mind"? You must travel the world to the scene of many events to judge them firsthand then. And "enough said"...Aren't we down with the kids, innit.
  9. You mean like when there was one for 9/11? As much a tragedy as 9/11 was I find Remembrance Day to hold more significance and importance. A blanket silence lets everyone know it is taking part and allows other to respect the wishes of those wanting to take part. Without something official there will be lots of positions in the university (service points etc) where you will have people standing in silence and other people not knowing why. It will be a shambles.
  10. Again I agree. But wanting to show your respects at the official time should not be played down. Why should it?
  11. It won’t really work like that in a large organisation. I agree with the sentiment though. I would rather say if you don’t want to participate then walk away or respect those that do. Is that too much to ask?
  12. Forgive my ignorance here, but what blog? Genuine question. If I’ve missed a link, then my apologies. And “Daily Mail readers”, come on. Is this where I should call you a “Guardian reader”? You are nothing more than a paradox of what you think you oppose. For the record I read both.
  13. How sure are you and what feedback? Care to share it? Also who is "shocked" and "disguisted"? You're just making things up. Yes/no?
