  1. I was born in Sheffield 48 years ago but my family relocated to Essex when I was only 5. I still have distant memories of Broomhill. I love reading, particularly historical fiction and short stories. I have written a fair amount of short stories myself and I am also into Life Writing.
  2. Again, very good Nigel. Twas such a sad end for a truly troubled man. Have you ever considered writing lyrics or putting your poems to music?
  3. I agree with Killa Ted - phone the takeaway. Less bother
  4. Making my mouth water just reading this. Going to ask the Mrs. to make one!
  5. Unfortunately it can take them three months to get around to looking at your claim again. I wish you the very best though. I've been there and it is horrible having to wait. Good luck.

  7. I've read several of your poems on here Nigel and they are usually witty. Good work.
  8. Harrowing theme Nigel but you tackled it well.
  9. I was intringue by just the title but unfortunately I haven't enough posts to access it.
  10. Funny and Gruesome Sir Nigel. I like the Lizzie Borden reference.
  11. Yes it isn't bad Lilly. Do you still write poems?
  12. When I lived in Derby they had one called Old Boots which was lovely
