The Writers' Group introduction thread.
Drakey replied to shoeshine's topic in Sheffield Writers Group
I was born in Sheffield 48 years ago but my family relocated to Essex when I was only 5. I still have distant memories of Broomhill. I love reading, particularly historical fiction and short stories. I have written a fair amount of short stories myself and I am also into Life Writing. -
Again, very good Nigel. Twas such a sad end for a truly troubled man. Have you ever considered writing lyrics or putting your poems to music?

Making my mouth water just reading this. Going to ask the Mrs. to make one!

Unfortunately it can take them three months to get around to looking at your claim again. I wish you the very best though. I've been there and it is horrible having to wait. Good luck. -
Sorry to hear about this old grump. Hope the mindless person who did this gets caught

I've read several of your poems on here Nigel and they are usually witty. Good work.
