  1. Sorry to hear your cat is missing, have you put her on RSPCA lost and found site also Animal Search UK and any others, try ringing local vets in case she has been picked up injured. My cat went missing for a month the other year, we put leaflets through letter boxes in the surrounding area, we finally got him back not far away from home hiding in some bushes, he was spotted mainly at night, cats seem to come out at night when its quiet. Get a box of cat biscuits when its starting to go dark and shake them and shout her and listen, she may be trapped somewhere, i did this a lot, sometimes the wrong cats turned up, but just keep trying. Fingers crossed she turns up soon.
  2. Please keep looking for Envy she has now been missing for eight days. It is so worrying anybody near Meadowhead check you Gardens, Sheds etc She could have gone Graves park way, or across to Chancet Wood.
  3. Just read on other thread the Pug is now safely home. Please keep looking for the little Chihuahua.
  4. Yes two Dogs missing close by it sounds like the Pug may have been found but I can not confirm this the Chihuahua is still missing if you look on Dog Lost their is a poster it is cross Pug/Yorkshire terrier, name Envy. If I hear anything else I will let you know.
  5. Spoke to my son today the Chihuahua is still missing, I found out she had no collar on at the time she went missing. I told her to ring the Dog pound again, and put up more posters, I have also offered to help take posters to shops etc in the area for her. If anyone walks through Graves Park could they keep an eye out, she may be hiding somewhere, or got locked in someones hut, garage etc
  6. Nope- I heard one of the staff telling an elderly gent that they weren't open tomorrow.. Biggsy
  7. My son has just told me that one of his friends who lives on Meadowhead Sheffield 8, Chihuahua went missing on Tuesday 21st May form her garden. The only information I have, is that she is Microchipped the picture I have she looks Medium and light brown colour. I have given her Sheffield Pounds number and told her to ring up and to put her on Rspca Lost and Found. She is also putting leaflets through door. If anybody has seen or found one they can message me and I will get in touch with her.
  8. RIP Amber, some cruel people about, I know what I would like to do to them if I could catch them.
  9. Our cat had Thyroid problems as she got older, we gave her some tablets from vet which kept her going for a good few years, she would cry for food and even pinch food out of your hand, which she never did before. Also we kept her down stairs but she used to cry outside bedroom door so loud and wake us up early, because she was hungry, tablets settled her down, but she never put much weight on again.
  10. Please do not give up I know how upsetting it is losing a cat after losing mine for a month the other year, have you put leaflets through letterboxes and posters up in local pubs, shops etc. Think of any places close by he could hide garages, parks etc cats love hiding, go out when it has just turned dark and is quiet with a box of go-cat and shake it and shout his name and listen he could be close by but unable to get out. I don,t know if you have already done so if not put him on Rspca lost site, Animal Search uk, Gumtree etc. Fingers crossed he turns up soon.
  11. Give them time, all the cats I have had, have been like this at first, but have settled in the end. I have a 6 year old Norwegian Forest cat he is the most relaxed and loving cat I have ever known, we have just taken in another cat 4 year old female, and at first they did not get on, but now they sit in window together our daft cat sits and lets her eat her food first, and has his when she has finished.
  12. Hope you get him back where he belongs, he will be very frightened in the Dog Pound, and with all his problems it is very unlikely he will be re-homed. There are so many unwanted dogs in the pound but the majority of them are Staffys, and they are such lovely dogs its so sad.
  13. Hi just to let you know that my son saw a dog of this description on Annesley Road, I have just rung him, he said it was Wednesday or Thursday night about 7pm, he noticed it and it had only got one eye, he stopped the car but it ran off, he came to my house and told me but when he went back it had gone. It was near the paper shop so it would probably head towards Bradway or somewhere near the top, so sorry we did not catch it. But perhaps you could look in that area, if we see it again I will contact you straight away, or try to catch it.
