I had a problem with outlook yesterday . It came back on in the evening. Now i keep getting warning certificates popping up telling the name doesn't match the certificate . -
The coverage on TV this morning regarding his family was heartbreaking. God bless them and RIP Drummer Rigby.

Does anyone believe in ghosts,or has seen one?
mrs patching replied to steveb2007's topic in General Discussions
I too didn't believe until i saw the old lady who owned our house before us. She died in a nursing home and my daughter saw her first . I am now a believer , she lived in our house very happily so why shouldn't she come back to visit. -
I was on school journey to the Isle of Wight and three of us at a time had to share the bath water. Yuck !!!

Our hive is under the step to the door. The other families are in the roof space above the windows. Don't think they are honey bees , will try and live with them until they die off in the autumn.

Thanks for that. Everytime we open the door they are hovering at the bottom . Will fill the hole when they have gone. I was told they will not return, but i don't want to take the chance.

My neighbour , the house next to her and my house all have seperate bees nests. Does anyone know when the bee season ends so we can block the entrances. Thanks

Yes keep him alive and force him to have therapy. -
Not sure how big it is, but the whole site has just come up for sale. So i should expect new houses in the next few years covering it. :-(

Best website for selling a dog.
mrs patching replied to mrs patching's topic in Sheffield Pet Owners
Excuse me... We are genuine animal lovers too. We have had Many pets over the years that have lived with us until they have died. We have had a dramatic change in our circumstances and have to rehome our dog. Having personal digs at me does not induce me to give him to you. I was told by the vet to ask for payment... that way only decent people who want to take him on will apply.. if i said "free to anyone " there would be no telling who whould take him and maybe abuse him. My reasons are genuine and i was expecting snipes. -
Best website for selling a dog.
mrs patching replied to mrs patching's topic in Sheffield Pet Owners
No we are cetainly not selling him because of this . Our personsal circumstances have changed and without going into detail we have no option. We will be asking for the amount of money we paid for him so that the person who buys him wants him . I will not just give him to anyone and especially not to someone who is imature. We would dearly love to keep him but we cannot. We are devestated . -
Hi. We need to sell our puppy and was just wondering if anyone can tell me of a good website ?. We are only going to let him go to a good home and will not be selling him to just anyone. We are desperately sorry to see him go, but our work commitments have changed and we just cannot give him the time he needs. Thanks.

Drawn curtains for bereveaments.
mrs patching replied to david weston's topic in Sheffield History & Expats
Our family used to draw the curtains, they also used to cover all the mirrors in the house. Everyone wore black for a month as well. -
Road closures for resurfacing
mrs patching replied to metalman's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
I've got no experience in Civil Engineering. But anyone can tell a perfectly good road from a bad one !!. My road is shocking , pot holes , loose stones and unneven repairs in the past has made it impossible to drive down over 10 miles an hour. My car has been damaged three times , over £200 damage done and the council have refused to pay. -
Road closures for resurfacing
mrs patching replied to metalman's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
The pavements and main roads in Mosborough are fine. It is not just the cost that is an issue . Leave them alone and do the ones that need doing. If they concentrated on the worse ones first it would improve journey times and make driving a safer and less stressful experience. If they finish the bad ones first with the money left over upgrade the rest. -
Road closures for resurfacing
mrs patching replied to metalman's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
I will believe that when i see it. The money will run out long before the side roads are done. -
Road closures for resurfacing
mrs patching replied to metalman's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
As i have said previously , they will be digging up perfectly good main roads and pavements while the side roads are dire. This council knows how to waste government grants right, left and centre. An independent company should be brought in to assess all roads and divert the fund to cover the worse ones only. -

Yes i'm glad they are alive. Life in solitary confinement , no religion and no visitors . It's the only way to control extremeists without the death penalty. -

Just been named as Lee Rigby. R.I.P soldiers like him are the backbone of this country.
