Running With scissors is having a social crafting event to celebrate its 5th birthday. The event is on Thurs. 16th Oct 5.30 - 9.00pm at Harland Cafe (John Street, off Bramall Lane). Bring along your own projects to work on if you are bringing knitting or crochet then you can bag a space in the cafe. More information on http://www.rwssheffield.co.uk Tickets are £5 and available from our website and at the Harland Cafe. All proceeds will be donated to the Microloan Foundation charity to support women in Malawi and Zambia to set up their own businesses to support their families and communities. Hi Everyone, Just letting you know that Running With Scissors is running a day of mini workshops on Sunday 8th Dec to Make Your Own Christams gifts. We have places left on: Lip balms (set of 3) Bath Bombs (tray of scented mini bombs) Willow Stars (set of 3) Willow Mini-wreaths (set of 3) The mini workshops are £7.50 each and last approx 45min - 1 hour, booking essential. We are also running a drop in making session at the Harland Cafe on the same day (Sunday 8th Dec), making fabric bracelets and feedle felted brooches / keyrings for £5 per item at the Harland Cafe - no booking needed but when the supplies are gone...they're gone!!
