  1. If a family of 4 or more want to pay me £60 each I will come to their house and cook Xmas dinner for them, wear a Santa hat, whistle festive tunes and get wasted on their sherry. Strictly mushroom wellington , haggis en croute, or nut roast though.
  2. Yes, although cigarettes should be banned.
  3. Why don’t we use this thread as a safe space and say some of the unsay-able things we’re all thinking. Freddie Mercury, David Bowie, Elvis Costello and Bob Dylan are hugely overrated. Conceptual art is mostly pants. Being friendly and compassionate pays back in spades. Drugs should be legal. Self hatred is directed outwards. SF is ridden with faux gammon outrage.
  4. Lets try some: I think that Christianity's beliefs are crackpot and can't understand why anyone can believe such nonsense I think that Islam's beliefs are crackpot and can't understand why anyone can believe such nonsense I think Gammonism's beliefs are crackpot, and can't understand why anyone can believe such nonsense
  5. I've long suspected Padders and Patrick Dickinson are one and the same. Cheers to you both.
  6. Well if you lose some weight, and work on your blood pressure, you might learn to love yourself again, then you'll become a better person and not be a gammon. Which is not an option with actual racism
  7. Probably given up on SF as it's become a tedious gammon echo chamber.
  8. That's not remotely hilarious. It's just a tedious non story, click bait for gammon.
  9. Anyway, back to the mural... The mural is out of place on the end of Valley Road, on the side of a very tacky nail bar that is also out of place. People must bus in to use it as folks in Meersbrook are generally not trout-lipped airheads. The mural is very poorly executed as well and does not fit in with the local zeitgeist. I fully support any amusing additions to it.
  10. Not being a bug eater I'll leave you to answer your own questions
  11. You do realise that to eat meat they have to grow masses of extra food to feed those animals, and that just multiplies problems like pesticides and 'other factors' many times over. I'm quite sure thanks
  12. Far far fewer than eating meat. Of course bugs and insects are animals, they ain't vegetable or mineral.
  13. Great news. Killing animals for food is way beyond disgusting
  14. When Charles and Diana got married I stayed in my bedroom all day. The day of Diana's funeral I went for a lovely quiet walk. This time I've been asked to work, so I get paid to avoid the sh*tshow. Life does get better.
  15. Oh and I was out with an unvaccinated friend for a walk last year and he collapsed with one of these not a stroke but hard to pin down brain problems, he still can't drive, write emails and his memory is shot. It's a common thing and daft to blame it on the last mildly controversial thing you did.
  16. So the internet has shown a skeptic on here that 3 people have died from side effects out of millions of people and now they think the vaccine is a poison. Ffs, 3 unvaccinated people in my small family either died or were on life support from covid, and my friend David had a heart attack while bedridden with covid.
  17. Never read 'An Inspector Calls' then?
  18. That policeman with his back to the train is clearly is not a steam engine enthusiast. He's just spoiling it for everyone by making sure the crowd don't spill onto the line and get chuffed to death. Are there no lengths (including time travel) that these h&s busybodies won't go to?
  19. This is the royal family discussion thread, if someone wants to start a RIP The Queen (no naysayers please) thread I'd respect that.
  20. I can't keep up, I thought you had her down as a lizard.
  21. Don't we! The conspiracy loons on here were branding the monarchy murderers the other week for killing Diana, now the same people are chasing knighthoods with their fawning. Lol
  22. Indeed, and there are millions of others who have given a lifetime of service to their family, friends, community and the country, none of whom lived in outlandish luxury in palaces with servants. Time for the circus to end I think.
  23. I read that the death of the monarch is announced in the evening after all the evening papers are out, then they get maximum coverage in the morning papers. London Bridge may already be down.
  24. She gave the grandparents a reason to buy their first TV (Gran said she'd rather have had a new bedroom suite), and now 70 years later she's going to give people a reason not to turn it on for a fortnight. Mind you I got a free mug in 1977, so best wishes maam.
