  1. So your saying your manager doesn't have a say in some transfers? that can only end one way.
  2. Into Mcabes or the Princes pockets and businesses no doubt, cant see much going into players of infrastructure. Just remember that even from above, inevitably you will always be in our shadow!
  3. 2 goal difference, must try harder!
  4. And never been bettered since 😂
  5. What, the game we where 1-0 up with 10 minutes to go? 😉
  6. If you keep telling yourself there is no issue you may start to believe it soon!
  7. This was always going to be the issue, united cant compete with Wilder's ambition and the current court case isn't helping. It will only be a matter of time before a club turns his head and this may be a team at a lower level but show more ambition to succeed long term!
  8. I'm getting mixed messages here, are you going for McGinn's goal? 😂
  9. McCabe saw the sign off things to come and feathered his other nests with United money (Tevez anyone?) the deal our chairman is doing is slightly different, any lease will go back to the club and not the Scarborough group or McCabe's other interests-You need to keep an eye on any other skeletons that come out of the closet in the next 5 weeks as they may define what you do next season!
  10. The bin Laden family disowned him for there own means, probably by the instruction of Bin laden himself (to protect investments/capital etc.) Bin Laden's brother is still currently wanted by the American government!
  11. He has a point though, the longer this this case is going on the more ghosts keep coming out of the closet. The Prince will stop at nothing to get his hands on the club and I'm sure he will have more bomb shells (excuse the pun) to drop before the 5 weeks are up. It's currently making Wednesday look like a well run club!
  12. Nothing to write home about but you felt the need to register to make this post? Welcome to SF!
  13. I'll start the car now, where does he want dropping Cherry or Shoreham Street? 😂
  14. Until results don't go the right way and he has to make rash, panic buys to appease the fans and owners!
  15. Stoke spent big for years, just to tread water-on the flip side Fulham spent big for one season, only to come straight back down, it's about getting a balance.
  16. If anything, United have done it right in getting where they are Grapps, and I have to admire that. But as you know, the Prem is different gravy, teams have tried to go into it with continuity from the season before, apart from a few, it doesn't usually end well.
  17. Well the will to win has seen United through (coupled with Leeds giving them a helping hand) I think the will to win wont be enough next season, Wilder will have to splash out the 40k a week (if allowed) to bring in the correct personnel, I would imagine that the team will be disbanded and maybe more ins and outs than Wednesday. The big test for Wilder is that he brings in players with the 'will to win' and not one season mercenary's (as others have done before)
  18. Well done the blades, it shows you what a good work ethic and a team that plays for each over can do. Hopefully we will see you the season after next (one way or another)
  19. It's your rant pal, if you think it the case find it out and send to Steve Gibson, but as you say, your not 100%!
  20. I've highlighted the truth and meaningful part of your rant.
  21. As already mentioned, Ipswich are all ready down, in there defence, teams who are relegated often play with more freedom (I went to Burnley the year we got relegated and we won 7-2) I suppose it's the same for Leeds though.
  22. Thought I would update this as United's form has took a turn for the worse. It seems that United have hit the 3 fatal floors needed for poor results: 1) Lack of form 2) Injuries and suspensions 3) Bad luck Form seems to have gone out of the window, Norwood (by all accounts) cant find a pass for love nor money, Fleck has become an ineffective passenger in games and a tight, effective defence has become anything but this. Injuries and suspensions have hit United hard (like Wednesday the last 2 seasons) Egan's suspension and Bashams injury have left them short of defensive cover, the biggest loss is Sharp as you will now have to rely on a aging Mc Goldrick (by all accounts Madine and Hogan aren't cutting it) Bad luck is a funny one, you take the good with the bad, by all accounts there was a foul before Millwall's goal yesterday and Wilder remonstrated with the referee (which could lead to a fine or touch line ban) I think you just have to get on with it and believe that the luck will even itself out. Will United re-find the will to win to enable them to push for automatics or take momentum into the play-offs? who knows, but they will have to do this quickly as the season is at risk of becoming a damp squib (like Wednesday's)
