I use the Fitness Unlimited gym as Ponds Forge and I'm becoming increasing annoyed at their lack of weights. Gym goers will know that hand held dumb bells come in pairs and that most exercises involve using a pair. The problem at Ponds Forge is that some of them were damaged and at the moment there's only 1 or 2 pairs of dumb bells over 20 kg. It's been like this for over a month now and frankly it's ridiculous that any gym can't replacement broken weights immediately. What's the point of paying membership to a gym that doesn't have a full selection of weights ? I would be interested to hear from anyone from Ponds Forge / Fitness Unlimited to explain the current situation.

I visited the Kelham Island Tavern when I moved into the area 2 years ago. I know that it was a real ale type place but I thought that as it's a pub it may well sell other alcoholic beverages. I asked one of the staff behind the bar which lagers were available and he looked at me as if I had asked to sleep with his wife ! His welcoming reply was, "if you want that muck, you need to go into town". So I promptly did just that and haven't been in since. There's more to a great pub than the beer that they sell, hospitality goes a long way too.

Certain types of music attract certain types of people and the problem with the music that Niche is known for is that it attracts some of the wannabe gangster types. Admittedly these people are in a minority but problems arise when part of their culture suggests that one way of dealing with being 'dissed' is to pop a cap in someone's ass. There are a small minority who think that it's cool to deal drugs and carry weapons and I've read nothing in this thread that will deter these types from once again frequenting Niche in the event that it re-opens.

That's why the odds are so high. Over 1.5 goals may be 2/1 or even less depending on the game, whereas to score exactly 2 goals would be much higher.

I don't think it would be an issue backing English Premier League games but it would be different if it was a lower league in some far away country. Bookies make their money by offering odds lower than the actual outcome.

It is indeed bad practice. Texting is always safer using both hands, one hand to hold the phone and the other to key in the letters. That way the driver could have steered the bus risk free with his knees.
