  1. I know this is an old thread but, It's been a long time now since I bought any livestock. I was wondering if any new and exciting places have opened up recently (dry and wet goods) I know about the usual places viscum, Sheffield Aquatics, et cetera But if anyone knows of anywhere new that I can have a visit to over the long weekend please let me know. In the short term I mainly after a few large snails as over the last year my population seems to have dwindled and I have only a couple left.
  2. Looks good, I can see I'll have to get busy over the coming weeks
  3. Has anyone done any near infra red photography? What kinds of things turn out best?
  4. Thanks for info, just need to keep my ear to the ground now and find some.
  5. I have had quite a few zebra finches over the years and would now like to have a go at keeping gouldians, however I have heard that they are a little more 'fragile' in regards of the care they need etc. has anyone had them before ? will they happily co-habit with zebras? and do you have any general tips ? Also if you know of any for sale please let me know
  6. saw it last year, and it was already a year old by then
  7. The problem is that there are simply not enough HGV drivers to keep all the bulk gritters out 24/7.
  8. Well I picked up some New Era marine flakes (30g) for £4.20 but i dont go through a lot of food with my nano tank. Seems cheaper than the same stuff on Ebay though from what I can see. Also picked up some more snails 10 for £12. Spoke to them about the sale and apparently they are no longer stocking marine. practically no coral left and just a few fish but a fair amount of dry goods still left.
  9. Went yesterday to Wentworth Garden Centre and they are selling off all marine related stuff 50% off inc livestock and corals. Not sure how their prices compare to other places but looks ideal if you're short on food etc etc.
