  1. Tuition fees have always been charged here in the US. Student loans are the way most people go. Depending on the school someone can leave with a degree and $100,000 of debt.
  2. Could you please explain why are you so anti Jehovah's Witness? They seem a peace loving, family oriented group to me. And for sure they've never asked anyone that I know for money.
  3. TN certainly is somewhat humid in summer, like all the South, but not as bad as FL! This is as far north as I would want to live for sure. Nashville is quiet after LA, but the clubs and honky tonks are legendary. Music City USA ....I love it! My gf comes from Charleston, she'll have you move there given half a chance!
  4. Way to go, Phantom! Hey! weren't you the guy that gave that hitchhiker the ride?.... He told me all about it in my bar Saturday night...! Truckers are gr8! xx
  5. Oh tell me about it, baby! One of the reasons I moved from Culver City to Tennessee was to see the seasons change, for goodness sake! I went to SD once for a Smooth Jazz concert one Sunday. One of the clarinet players invited me, and it was great but SD is so HOT! 2 hours up the I5 and LA seemed a different world..... Tennessee 's climate is beautiful, hot summers, frosty winters, but right now in Fall is my favorite time.
  6. lol! Never let the smell of fishcakes distract me from the more important things in life, but "stuffin' me gob" was on that list and something I could do and never feel guilty about at all! Does SNS mean anything to you? I think we should leave this line of chat b4 we get busted..! or call me on my Adult Chatline (kiddin', just kiddin'!)
  7. I think thats a great idea! Whats the criteria for selecting the beneficieries..?
  8. Lived ont Cross, is that any good? Graduated in 84. Lived in Culver City left in 06. How's SoCal at 11:15 am?
  9. Cant say he ever offered to cut my hair off, Jabber!
  10. Absolutely true. Its just not worth it! Well done though for passing her test! Over here Tennessee law allows driving at 15, but after passing the road test young drivers cant carry passengers under the age of 21 (I think). Which has cut the numbers of fatalities amongst young drivers considerably. Add alcohol to the scenario and the carnage reaches small war preportions. Young people think they're immortal of course, but then didn't we all?
  11. If you can't insure it, don't drive it I guess thats all she wrote! Car ownership is expensive, anywhere in the world, and insurance is the biggest factor in the deal.
  12. When my boy living in Sheffield first past his test last year he was charged 1998GBP for TP F&T, group 1. Girls are apparently safer and the rates lower!
