I loved whitsuntide, We would always go upto Encliffe park, and march back down sharrow lane, with the salvation army band,we all felt very proud.We would end up back on Franklin street.God i miss those days.

I know some one who worked in the Big Gun pub for years. Her name was carol ward. She lived on wybourn. The name susan turton rings a bell, Alan thomas, aswell. Not to sure about the others, sorry.

I my brothers used to knock about with Billy, Robert, Tex, and David shaw as kids.. My brothers are called, clive, clifford, and David Bell. I am face book friends with Robert and Dave shaw . I to went to wybourn school. but i left about 1967ish. My name is Pat Bell.

Heathere. I had two aunts and uncles that lived on franklin street. I can also remember, Lily Arnol her freind was Ida kent, dont know if thats how you spell the name. my aunts name was Dot and Vic pullan and my other aunt was called Aunt Em Birch, her hubby was called Jack.If i can remember ,i think my aunt Dot lived opp whites. My cousin was called shirely pullan, had 2 brothers Peter and John. My aunt Em had 2 sons Rodney and Leslie. I knew of a Derek white and a Vicki white. -
I do agree with Gunner, people are greedy, and just think of them selfs. If joe Blogg next door has more than you, go and robber them. There is no respect these day, It is so sad.

To gonetolong, I remember the wards that lived at the bottom of the terrace, there was Patrick, Jean, shelia, carol, and a younger sister i think her was marie .

Hello Marie hennah.I remember your family very well.My sister and brothers used to go to wybourn school with them. I also remember your gran.If i remember she use to wear a greyish coat . I was only a child when we live on wybourne at the bottom of maltravers terrace. We was called the Bells. Sorry i cannot help the finding Roes.
