Does anyone know where I can get some cheap carpet tiles? Only need around 4 square metres. Looked on Google but not much joy. Thanks.

Can entombed give me some advice regarding Danfloss 40704 wireless thermostat? It's just showing the correct time but no temperatures. I've had a wick look at some online instructions. But it only asks you to do a reset if the screen is frozen, which it isn't as the clock is working ok. Any ideas anyone? Thanks. Should have said anyone, not entombed!

Guess I'll need a lot for the whole house? The smoke smell is really stale as the previous owner was a heavy smoker.

How do I get rid of the smell? Is there something I can spray on the carpets and upholstery. I've heard you can use baking soda/vinegar and other stuff. Has anyone tried it? Thanks.

Nags Head at Loxley has never disappointed us-good food and beer. You'll have to book it (as with the Plough and Horns)

When I have mine done, the results tell you the guidelines with any of the results outside the guidelines shown in red. This is an online service, don't know if it differs from one you might get from a Hospital. -
Thanks for all your replies. Got some from B&M.

Thought I'd start a new thread as the existing ones are a bit out of date. I need to buy guite a lot of emulsion/ undercoat/ gloss (oil or water based). I need decent quality stuff and was wondering where I can get the best value these days. If anyone can recommend somewhere I'd be very grateful. Many thanks.

I'm getting a new HD Television next week so my resolution will be 1920x1080.

Good call. There's free parking just up the road at the shopping centre near Tesco across from Longley School. Busses run every half hour to and from the NGH, or you could walk (takes about 20 mins depending whereabouts in the Hospital you work) or 5 minutes on the bus.

Agree with Bassett, thanks for all the useful info you post on here. -
Not really in Sheffield but near enough. Does anyone know the dates for next year's festival? It's usually early February. Had a look at a few websites but can't seem to find when it is. Thanks.

BBC 4 is in my opinion just about the only channel worth watching but it seems to have loads of repeats on these days.

So no-one's thinking about going to Church, singing some nice Carols and perhaps praying how lucky we are compared to a lot of poor people on the Planet. I love Christmas and most things that go with it but it's mostly about (over) indulgence these days.

Noticed that the Look North reporter rounded up by saying that it was "Despite Brexit".

I went there in the early seventies (I worked for Post Office Telephones as it was known then). I seem to remember there was a figurehead near the entrance, or am I just imagining it?? -
Is the one at Millhouses still open?

Is it still possible to cross the Wicker on DD Way? -
My wife and I used to go down there on Saturday nights and have a good pub crawl. Perch, Robin Hood, Gower, Staff, Royal Oak, Irish Club, East House, Signpost and one or two others I can't remember the names of. Don't know which ones are still open. Happy days!!
