  3. hi coritani did they call your wife maureen beeley im rita shemeld we lived in same yard we used to have concerts in the back yard infact ive got a photo ofmaureen ann whittaker and myself doing a concert francess lived at 15 clay st then there were 2 garages then about 4 more houses iknow smiths lived in one john and mary oconnor lived opposite peakers lived on maltby st i knew sylvia peaker she was my age then there was eric peaker what a walk down memory lane ive only just found this thread hope to hear from you

Good for you pam we had the parson cross for 16 years no way were druggies allowed in they tried but no chance we had a good set of lads who looked after there local they liked to bring there wifes and girlfriends in and have a good time which they did and so did we chris would turn in his grave if saw the cross now keep it up pam dont let the scum bags get you down good luck
  5. pierreponts had two veg stalls on the cliff one below attcliffe church next to the bank the other was just passed clay street between the horse meat shop and the post office i was born on brompton road in 1937 and they were there as far back as i can remember after the war whitakers opend a fruit shop and a flower shop abit further up from pierrpoints
