you can only get married outside if you are in a structure with a solid roof like a band stand, that has been licensed and there are only a few venues around the area that have these. however you can have a wedding blessing outside and then have it where ever you like. but you would need to do the legal bit before hand. In regards to the marquee for the reception, I have a number of venues on my books that allow marquees on their grounds, for a more alternaive feel, not wedding venues with marquees in their grounds, by the sounds of it that isn't what you are after. Have you tried the Tulp Lounge in town? it isn't Hisborough but it is a good price and they book out for evenings. Modern, lots fo space, I cna recomed as have been to an evening reception there. It's on 21-23 North Church St Sheffield, South Yorkshire S1 2DH 0114 276 5870 Hope that helps. xxxx
