Can anyone pick up a stray dog as I can't get in touch with the dog warden till tomorrow and I can't keep it here as I have a dog. It's a lovely natured little brown mix

hello im not sure how long ago you posted this but i live in the s5 area and there is a black cat with white paws in my garden it did have a blue collar on but recently changed to a white one but doesn't seem to be going anywhere but our garden

hello i live in the s5 area and recently a young black cat with white feet and a white coller has been hanging around my garden. im just checking that its not lost its way. hopefully its someones new cat and its getting used to the area lol but having lost a cat myself i know how easy they can wonder off from home and the worry the owners have is horrible

hello im so glad barney came home even tho she sounds like shes had a tough time i bet your over the moon, cats are little fighters so she will back to her normal self in no time even with 3 legs. ill keep my fingers crossed for her that all goes well

has anyone lost a male brown brindle staffy if so i have just seen it going in the hospital woods on barnsley road this morning. couldnt catch it as i had my dog and he not friendly. hope this helps somebody

hello everyone has already given you so much good advice but wanted to add wen i had my puppy and she was scared to be left on her own i started off really small, i put her in a room for 10mins then let her out i did that for awhile then moved the time up to 20mins then 30mins and so on. i found that to really work as it was less stressful on her to whine for hours but she got used to the fact that she could be left on her own and nothing bad happend as everyone else has said perseverance is the key and finding whats right for you and the dog hope all goes well.

im very sorry to hear this i hope you get her back safe and sound my cat has just been missing for three days she came back a couple of days ago so there is a good chance she will come back on her own, but i know how distressing it is waiting ill keep my fingers crossed for you

well the cats i saw looked well fed and looked after so hopefully if he was lucky and someone has taken him in an now hes in a lovely home. but i will still keep a look out for any cat that looks sick or injured and make sure it gets to a safe place. i think sometimes people tend to ignore cats that are out on there own because unlike a dog sometimes you cant tell if there just out for there daily wonder or missing from home, or as some people said to me "nevermind its just a cat" like there a lesser pet but after my little trauma i will be more aware of cats i see when im out and about and try and convert those around me to do the same lol

hello i do live near there and have seen a few black cats in the last few months that look young if i see them again i will post a thread straight away, does it have any other markings that may help to identify it.

hello everyone my missing cat is home, she came home last night looking abit worse for her 3 day adventure and very very hungry, but otherwise ok thank you to the people who offered to keep an eye out for her i am very grateful. and now i am a proud member of pet patrol who volunteer to keep an eye out for missing pets so many more can be returned home.

hello just had a thought s5 a big area, she gone missing near barnsley road so any area around horninglow road, the oval, firth park,hucklow road these sort of areas so if people could keep an out i would be very grateful thank you

thank you for these links i checked them all but shes not there. i have just been out walking the streets and calling her name but still nothing. i will be making some flyers to put up everywhere and keep my fingers crossed someone finds her or she comes home. i think she may have ran to far because something freaked her out on the gargen so in a panic shes just bolted but for her not to come back is very very out of character.

i know the risks of having a cat but it doesnt lessen the upset when you lose one. many animals can be classed as a menace and risk to wildlife not just cats but i dont need to hear it when im so upset about my pet
