  1. I find aria.co.uk good, decent selection and quite cheap.
  2. I know it could be anyones, but i have seen 2 small short haired back cats (could be same one) on roads near me that i havn't seen before. Florence avenue and alison Drive. Like i say, could be anyones cat, but the one i saw on alison drive today looked skittish
  3. Hi Becky, Woodseats Medical Centre is changing their number to an 0114 from 1st of November. Hope that helps
  4. Hi, i work at a printers in killamarsh, main job is event printing (tickets and wristbands) but we also print flyers and posters, but we can quote on most printing. hitech Security Print 01142513130
  5. You will find all mobile numbers bring up a UPS number and the chinese numbers is basically a number mailing list. try searching your mobile number
  6. The HD mini is a pretty old phone in mobile terms, its a smaller version of the HD2 which ran windows mobile 6.5. i had the HD1 which spec wise is very similar and was an excellent phone, but windows mobile 6.5 is a little dated compared to Windows phone 7 and android in my opinion £300 is far too much for it. £300 could get you a new WP7 or a good Android phone
  7. i live in aston too and have the same problem, however i much prefer the dinnington tip, its much easier to get in and out. the problem i have with beighton is people park in the middle of the road to unload causing a big queue behind, its like ten minutes to get through. plus wouldn't it be better to give rotherham council the recycling so they make the money which then will (hopefully) go back into the community
  8. had a quick search on google, there is websites that unlock but do charge, i've seen prices ranging for £6-£12. i havn't found a free method
  9. last time i saw you can do that it was 50p, but that wasn't recorded delivery so that could make a difference just looked on royal mail site "For an additional fee of £1.50, you can arrange for your item to be delivered to a local Post Office® branch, where you can collect it. "
  10. well the wind has blown down a lamp post on our road :/
  11. we were flooded in both 2007 and 2009 by the freak weather, both because of a council tennent neighbour building over the drain and a 3 year fight with the Rotherham council to clear it. however my insurance has remained about £33 a month, i've had halifax and abbey. (note im not in a flood plain)
  12. i thought the lights was flickering slightly, i thought it was my eyes at first. but only lasted maybe 30 seconds
  13. sorry to disapoint you but it was on watchdog http://webarchive.nationalarchives.gov.uk/+/http://www.berr.gov.uk/whatwedo/consumers/fact-sheets/page38311.html Wherever goods are bought they must "conform to contract". This means they must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality (i.e. not inherently faulty at the time of sale). • It is the seller, not the manufacturer, who is responsible if goods do not conform to contract. • If goods do not conform to contract at the time of sale, purchasers can request their money back "within a reasonable time". (This is not defined and will depend on circumstances) • For up to six years after purchase (five years from discovery in Scotland) purchasers can demand damages (which a court would equate to the cost of a repair or replacement). • In general, the onus is on all purchasers to prove the goods did not conform to contract (e.g. was inherently faulty) and should have reasonably lasted until this point in time (i.e. perishable goods do not last for six years). • If a consumer chooses to request a repair or replacement, then for the first six months after purchase it will be for the retailer to prove the goods did conform to contract (e.g. were not inherently faulty) • After six months and until the end of the six years, it is for the consumer to prove the lack of conformity. While its a differcult thing to prove watchdog pointed out that a tv should last at least 5 years and a toaster or kettle (can't remember) was like 10 years
  14. depending on the damage, if its just packed in or if its damaged, and upto about 5 years old you can get it repaired via the sale of goods act. you have to go back to the seller
  15. has to be the Galaxy, you get much more functions for cheaper. ok smaller device but at least its portable, slips in big pockets or handbags. the Ipad doesn't support flash and this is a biggy in my opinion, yea flash sucks as its a memory hogger and unstable but a large amount of websites use this and you will find no videos embedded on websites will work on a ipad/iphone (except youtube via a app) the Tab can be used as a phone, can sms/mms and can connect to 3G networks (unlike the entry level Ipad) and has expandable memory The Ipad does have a bigger better screen, a longer battery life and the bragging rights ipad/iphone fans enjoy
