  2. well as allergies go...i was at first told that she MAY have a food allergy...she has been on an allergy free dog food now for months...that didnt alter anything...though she will remain on this because i think she is tolerating this kind of food better and its been so good for her (expensive but id rather keep her happy) I was then told...oh it looks like its the cavvy thing..the inherited one! brain activity causes the intense itching! i fear thats the vets fob off excuse! ive had her on piriton...no change and after 5 days on it she has a massive scratch...i dont know if the piriton caused it so i stopped giving them as she was no better on it! im at the end of all the try this and thats...im running out! but havnt tried the olive oil! laters i think....
  3. Help is what I need here! Right...I have a 8yrs old cavalier, after 12 months back and forward to vets...im told again and again...she has no ear infection! so why does my dog scratch and scratch like crazy in her ear! its so bad now she cant go walks as its getting stupid..we stop more than we walk! she is so irritated by this scratch that she is out of breath with the itching!!! ive had antibiotics...ive used frontline.... nothing!! a couple of months ago we noticed she had a couple of ticks on her lower body...these were removed! she is clean, her skin has no marks/breaks or sore spots! she is just running crazy with this ear and i think maybe it could be her ear thats causing her to appear to be scratching her body! its just constant! could it be that there is a tick down there! one that cant be seen???? ive done everything i mean the lot! please....someone give me ANY advise...vets have proved totally useless and are beginning to look at me as though I am the stupid one! I so really need to sort this ear problem out! ANY help is like I will try ANYTHING

Frohike...no youre not the only one...i didnt know most either! lol...Jedward...yes, theyre pretty annoying but, lets hope they are in it to bring some life into the house...it could be quiet boring without them...after all...they are soooo annoying! they are forced to ruffle the feathers of most in there!

  21. had them as well...last week, just let her babble on (whilst the handset was on the sofa) picked it up about 5 mins later...she had hung up on me! not polite at all LOL!!!
  22. To be honest..I think the council will look at the options it leaves them with...maybe the main being, she is still housed, with a roof over their heads and would rather her take steps to keep this home rather than house her separatly, similar situation myself and although it was a council property we had, they immedietly asked ME to remain in the property even though I was the one wanting out! needless to say...the priority they eventually gave me took over 12 months for me to get a property so in between i also rented private..very costly BUT piece of mind too!
  23. I bet she's in bits! poor woman, its bad enough being a dog but what would they do if it was a child or another person that this had attacked??? nothing could be done!!! its a load of xxxxxx something can and should be done.... tell the police if nothing is done then its going to the papers...a dog had died...nothing can be done! they couldnt be bothered!
