Hi My son Corey was born 3 months premature and as a result is slightly developmentally delayed. A friend of mine who lives in Lincolnshire has a little boy of the same age who is also delayed. He attends an NCH Nursery which is specially equipped to look after children with special needs. Does anyone know of any such thing in this area??? Many Thanks Cath x

Hi As i live in Handsworth i am interested in it's history. I believe that at one time there was a swimming pool where the parkway is now, i believe where there is a roundabout. I even believe it's still under there somewhere and have an old picture of them building it. Does anyone actually know where it was/is? Cath x

Does anyone know the whereabouts of 'Helen Jones'. Used to be my best friend for many yrs and we lost touch. She used to live in Firth Park then moved to Hillsbourough where her parents ran a B&B. She'd be in her late 20's now and had a 2 brothers and a sister. I love to get in touch with her again. I was Catherine Barker back then. Thanks Cath x

I am trying to trace my family tree and have problems on my mothers side. She died 12 yrs ago and was adopted. She never really spoke of her birth family and the problem we have now is that we don't know her surname. We have no records and do not know the whereabouts of any of her family. There was a sister lived not far from us but having gone to visit her she has moved! She was born in 1938 presumably in Sheffield. She was christened Marguerita Irene but everyone called her Irene. She, we believe, had 4 sisters and 2 brothers. We know of Iris, Doreen, Gordon and i think John. She was adopted when she was around 8 yrs old by Ellen and Edwin Charlesworth and lived in Hillsborough later marrying and moved to Firth Park. Can you help????
