  1. Hi, Through you lovely people on here I found out about the best boiler engineer IN THE WORLD!! (in my opinion!). He's called Steve and is a member called corgigasman, and I found out about him because he was recommended in another thread. Not only is he a really fantastic tradesman, he's also a lovely bloke too. He was on time, did over and above what he quoted us for, was clean and tidy, and even took away the old boiler! He was so good that we'll definitely be giving him a call if we have any plumbing or heating needs in future, be sure to look him up if you have any too, we highly recommend him. So thanks Sheffield Forum, that's what community is all about... Oh and if you read this, thanks Steve, boiler's working a treat! Rachel x

  13. Defunkt is a brand new funk night, playing the best in classic funk, Motown, Stax, Atlantic and rare cuts. It's a place where people who are bored of conventional clubbing can move to a different rhythm, shaking off the shackles of a hard week's work. Our mission is to bring you the most infectious beats to make you move your feet. Defunkt was born out of a frustration for the lack of a regular cool night playing good music, where you can just hang out and be yourself, and dance and drink with friends. The night provides an outlet for the city's vibrant underground clubbing scene and taps into the collective call for something different. Alongside the regular night we will also bring you some of the best guest DJ's, live music and special events. Defunkt wants to free you from inhibition and show you a funky good time! Launch night is Friday 20th August and will take place on the 3rd Friday of each month in the Upstairs bar at DQ (Fitzwilliam Street) 10pm-2am First night £3 in, usually £5. http://www.myspace.com/defunktclubnight http://www.facebook.com/defunkt.sheffield x
