We bought a Corsa recently from Evan's Halshaw Rotherham (Ford), we got the best deal of all the one's we'd looked at (and we looked at afew). We also got a full tank of petrol!! We had a problem with the breaks, phoned up & booked in really quick and had new breaks fitted no problems. Sales & service were both good with us.

Newly diagnosed with dyspraxia and ADHD
sooty1 replied to wreck's topic in Disability & Carers Group
If you give the school a copy of the report from Rygate, then he should be able to get extra support needed. If he's got a diagnosis that should be enough surley, it was for my son's school anyway. Most schools have a special needs co-ordinator, why dont you request a meeting with them and ask how they plan to support your son, at the end of the day they have a duty of care to support him at school statemented or not. You may need to be a bit pushy or schools will often let things pass them by. I've found Rygate very supportive. I can't really help with the medication and ADHD, but I do know others who have found medication helpful. -
Personal budgets have given individuals alot more choice for the service they want/need, and the freedom to change providers. If individuals need a lot of hours ech week e.g. 24hrs, then their budget tends to go all on support, but if someone requires only a few hours support each week, then they can use their budget much more freely e.g. to pay for a gym mebership or therapy. The different services are normally passed on by social workers and then the family/individual speak to different providers and make decisions. As for passing by social services, not always easy, especially if health are also involved.

Try HFT on 2500718, they support adults with learning disabilities and use regular relief staff to cover A/L, sickness etc. They have houses in the S8 area of Sheffield. -
