Hi, I've recently started selling Usborne books as I was spending more time reading different stories with my daughter as she learns to read. She has loved looking at all the new books and activities and learning new and interesting facts (such as from See Inside the Universe). I've been taking my daughter to Virgin Active at Broadfield Park since she was 4 months old. I believe you have to be a member but the classes are brilliant.

Pixifoto or portrait palace do photos with white backgrounds and then some with colours and props as such! They are based in mothercares, I think Rotherham parkgate has a permanent studio. I've been to them twice (mobile studios) and like their pics! They do collections, so a 10x8, 7x5 and 4 mini wallet photos is something like £30 with a small sitting fee, they have vouchers on their website. Alternatively someone like captured moments find them on Facebook, her name is Jennie, she comes to your house with white backdrop and takes as many photos as you like then you purchase what you like, again has some prices on her website. We love Jennie, she took photos of my daughter and me & hubby about a month ago, and she's coming back to do my daughters photos on her 1st birthday. Hope that helps!

I'm not sure I'll be much help here, but having read your post, it seems that the other family are definitely in the wrong. I take my 5 month old swimming once or twice a week, and I take her in the larger bit of the pool as it's a little deeper (we are trying submersion as per her swimming lessons!), but this means the bigger kids are there too. Bigger kids generally just splash more as they are moving more - this is not a bad thing. Something that babies also need to get used to is being splashed, my husband and I purposefully splash near our daughter so she gets used to it. Again not a bad thing that babies are splashed near, it helps them. I would encourage your daughter in the pool, explain not to get too close to younger children (or actually some older children as she could be upset by their over activeness!) but other than that just enjoy being in the pool and letting her learn.

Not sure what kind of person I need, builder maybe? I'm after a price for someone to re-point and re-paint the exterior of my house. It's an end terrace but only needs front and back doing as side was rendered a few years ago. Can anyone recommend anyone? Thanks in advance.
