  1. Face reality. If The Mighty Wednesday are still in the Championship this time next year, that mere survival will be quite an achievement for 2013. . . .
  2. Open your eyes y'all. United, we could be the new Mighty Wednesday. A Combination utterly feared by all teams in the Premiership. Glory, Glory and even more Glory for the fantastic City of Sheffield. But take heed - it cannot be achieved with split supporters. Unitedites must adjust or die. Wednesdayites must yield and accept. Only together can we build the 75,000 seater Stadium for Heroes. The City Fathers must give us Hillsborough Park for our cause. They'll be plenty of room for the dog crap currently dumped in Hillsborough Park when we vacate the pitch between Leppings Lane and The Kop. . . .
  3. ASDA Chaucer was quite busy but there were no unreasonable checkout delays. . . .
  4. This is the thin end of the wedge. The "fantastic response" to extended Sunday hours will lead to a permanent change in the law. . . .
  5. It's the only way that they can be saved. And it's the only way that they can be truly United - United with Mighty Wednesday. . . .
  6. I do present REASONED points. You are heading for Non-League football. The Mighty Wednesday can be your Saviour. . . .
  7. The Stay Dry Car Park at ASDA Chaucer is absolutely fantastic at keeping the car cool in the blistering heat of a Parson Cross Summer. Customers are not wearing very much clothing either - they must be buying some more from ASDA George. . . .
  8. ASDA Chaucer (with The Stay Dry Car Park) is open from 0900 to 2000 on Sundays. (Until and including 09 September 2012.) You look great in George. . . .
  9. ASDA Chaucer (with The Stay Dry Car Park) is open from 0900 to 2000 on Sundays. (Until and including 09 September 2012.) . . .
  10. Misplaced loyalty ? Remember Father Christmas ? But don't worry, Ex Wednesdayman Wilson knows how to deal with United. Come over to Hillsborough and start supporting The Mighty Wednesday. Sing it Louder. Sing it Proud. Sing it in a Championship Crowd. Wednesday is not just one day of the week. The Mighty Wednesday is an experience for a lifetime. . . .
  11. At ASDA Chaucer (with The Stay Dry Car Park) they are selling 100 gram slabs of chocolate for 30p. I thought it would taste bad - but it was marvellous. Are there any more ASDA Chaucer (with The Stay Dry Car Park) terrific bargains that we should watch out for ? Please list them for the benefit of all Forum members. . . .
  12. Oh you've met my mother. I feel your pain !!!!! . . .
  13. You'll get some nice balloons at A A Bramall. . . .
  14. Just because I am a big fan of Store 4403.....oops - I mean ASDA Chaucer and the Stay Dry Car Park, it doesn't mean that I am called Steve Ryan.....oops - I mean it doesn't mean that I am the Manager here.....oops - I mean at ASDA. Over there. Somewhere. I dunno. I'm confused. And anywayz, why should I lower myself to be an assistant manager or a senior supervisor? I'd rather be a Moderator, making cash for others whilst working for free. . . .
  15. I heard that Parson Cross is due to undergo a massive new house building program - one reason that ASDA chose to invest in the area. Maybe Parson Cross will become the Dore & Totley of North Sheffield - and a great opportunity for single mothers and overseas guests to have some decent free housing for a change. Whatever the outcome - they will all enjoy ASDA Chaucer and the Stay Dry Car Park. . . .
  16. ASDA Chaucer is cheaper than Co-Op and it has a Stay Dry Car Park. . . .
  17. The self serve check-outs at Tesco Infirmary are a nightmare - the ones at ASDA Chaucer appeared to be working very well. . . . and the Stay Dry Car Park is pretty fantastic. . . .
  18. Thanks for your comments. Well we've just been and it was a good experience. It was pouring with rain and we did stay dry - I hate shopping whilst dripping wet or messing with a brolly. It was quite busy but there were no delays - One girl was holding a pointer towards the quickest till - she was very polite. Then we saw the self service tills and we prefer them - they appeared to be working well. Some of their "smart price" products seem to be very good value - it remains to be seen if their quality is up to standard. The Staff are obviously well trained and are a credit to their company. Certainly a good experience and certainly worth another visit. . . .
  19. Thanks for all your comments - very helpful. It seems to be worth a try. . . .
  20. Fear Not - Danny Wilson will cure the cancer . . . . . . he may kill the patient but that's a different story. Will he survive the full 2012 - 2013 season ? Unfortunately No. . . .
