  1. But how many Islamic countries are democratic?
  2. I was wondering what gives anyone the right to change other countries in which Islam is dominant? Part of the "problem" seems to be that certain countries where Islam is dominant do not want western "interference".
  3. This week I've used the slowcooker every day. So far I've made pea and ham soup, veggie chilli, creole chicken and chicken stew with barley and sweet potato. My favourite has been the creole chicken.
  4. Maybe the seller will scan and attach a copy of the proof of postage to an email?
  5. Make sure you get copies of all notes and minutes taken at all meetings. Have you asked the midwife why she referred your partner to SS? If she has specific concerns you can try to get them sorted out without interference from SS. I think it is cheaper to leave a child at home with loving parents than to take it in to care so SS might offer you some valuable help when the baby arrives.
  6. We are eating out much the same as always, which isn't very often. However we are having pub meals rather than going in to restaurants.
  7. Try looking on the foodies section in Sheffield interests as there are some threads on there about bread machines/hand made bread
  8. Hi Tara Misu. Are you related to a Keith Warrender who had a son named Paul. Paul's about 54 now.
  9. Being a latch key kid and having to look after my little brother.
  10. 1982 3 bedroomed semi in Conisbrough £8500.
  11. What about contacting the airport? Maybe send an email via their website. Think about the thousands of people with bits of metal inside them who must pass through airport security every day. If they were setting the alarms off I'm sure we would have heard about it. I've just checked a website; one person with titanium knees tells airport security who takes them aside and pat him/her down with a hand held device. This is from about.com If you have a hip replacement, knee replacement, a metal plate and screws, a metal rod inside your bone, or one of many other type of orthopedic implants, you too may set off the airport metal detector. Alert the security personnel, they will have you step aside for further screening. To help you on your way, wear clothes that allow you to easily reveal your surgical scar (such as sweat pants, short sleeve shirts, etc.). Alert the security staff that you have a metal implant, and let them know where it is in your body. You will likely be screened with a metal detecting wand, but security sees many patients with these types of implants, and you shouldn't be delayed.
  12. I'm not sure if screws in head setting off alarms etc isn't a bit of an urban myth. I've got some metal work attached to my spine from an operation in 1969. Never had any problems with airport alarms.
  13. What time do you go to bed and what do you do when you wake up after your 3 - 4 hours sleep? Do you wake up worrying or thinking about anything?
  14. What about baked potatoes with cheese and/or baked beans. I use quorn mince to make spag bol. What about home made vegetable based soups. You can leave them chunky or blitz them smooth. Build your own vegetarian pizzas. I also make a cheese bake which is based on cauliflower cheese but like taxman I also add broccoli plus potatoes and leeks.
