But as I said before, never have the top 16 all been able to play therefore the final draw isn't known until the night of the KO, so it hasn't affected anybody yet.

What I meant is there is only 1 person who would be in at 48% who wouldn't at 50%, it is a seeded draw ie 1 plays 16, 2 plays 15 etc, but if somenone in the top 16 does not want to play then their positon gets offered to the next highest qualifier so the final standings can still change. It has been like that for 3 seasons so no new changes there.

The limit has always been 50% of games, as explained before the 48% only affected 1 person anyway and was decided due to severe circumstances. Also the reason to go to the meetings is to pay subs and have your say, a few points of improvements and how the league should be run are being raised and will be discussed at the AGM, feel free to throw your hat in the ring.

no need for that now is there, it has always been said that if anyone has any ideas on how to run it then feel free to put it forward, If teams were at the meetings it would be a start!!

They were all meant to be best of 11, like that all the way to the final now.

That was always the idea, to have them run along side each other. There is room for both as you say. Juat means we can have more tailored discussions under separate headings which we need with all the things that are going on at the moment.

I agree locking the thread is a bad idea, just set a separate forum so that we can have separate topics and full forum uses. Keep the thread open but the separate forum will allow separate discussions rather than trawling through 600+ pages.

The dates for the KO are not set in stone, they will need to be played before the following round and can only re arrange if both teams agree. you'll have to try and arrange another date with the team you are playing, It's up to the 2 teams to arrange. You can play a 4th player as each team can have 4 members.

It would be very nice Phenom, but as you said, it's ok to dream of the side but we all know it won't happen which is a real shame. Fair play to the players that all come at the moment because without them this would be a pointless discussion. New season soon, how about a new start. I'd love to see it!

It makes sense for the team to be called Netherthorpe then if we have an Interleague next season. Just to re itterate the interleague/county needs support not the divide we currently have. What's the use in changing the name if we only end up with 8 in Yarmouth?? Can't have one without the other.

I agree with a lot of the previous posts, I am just frustrated at the lack of opportunities for players, the county structure needs support, not an overhaul. Everyone can organise until they are given the task to. It is why people like myself become dissillusioned by the state of things, Pool should be enjoyable and it is becoming too much like hard work. Interleague needs to support county and vice versa, and people should not be begged to play for SY, it should be an honour to qualify, the fact that some of SY strongest players are not playing is their fault, nobody elses. Let's stop passing the buck and move on together or I ask.......what's the point in playing at all??
